For those who are curious how I cleaned it, I use Petrol to clean the Burned Black area on the Board.

Based on your experience would you say that using a surge protector or some voltage regulator device that detect these occurrences is worththe money and effective to protect air conditioner circuit boards?

Yes using the surge protectors are worth the money, I agree. I tell my customers to use protective devices.

On this particular circuit board, in condition of such bad failure, I'd trace voltage line for the mcu and inject small voltage. If you observe that mcu is damaged, any further investigation is pure waste of your precious time.
@forevertechenglish2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your input! Tracing the voltage line and checking the MCU is definitely a good approach, especially in cases of significant failure. I usually try to cover multiple aspects of the board to show viewers a broader troubleshooting process, but I appreciate your suggestion

Over engineered pos boards. Worthless fuses that dont protect shit. First and last mini split ever. Crap little machines. Window units last forever compared to these Worthless pos units. Great channels but here in US nobody troubleshoots these crap units. Now have to replace these cheap ac unit with another cheap a ss unit and pray it wont crap out me in 2 years. Do yourself a favor and get a window unit.
