I just got the tank kit. Thanks for the instructions

I never liked the tiny size of the Hailstorm on the APC. It's smaller than the infantry weapons. I would've liked a slighty larger gun on it. Otherwise I love the tank look, they fit in the Forge Fathers style very well (even if they are a horrendous design by actual tank standards)

Lance Alot lots of sloped armour but no trench crossing ability ;)

I may be overlooking it somehow, but did the Hundr halftrack get a similar video? Been trying to find build and size comparison images of that one for a while now with no joy.

no we didnt do one as putting it together was quite simple

Is it just me or do the Forge Father vehicles seem less dynamic than say the enforcer/GCPS vehicles? I mean is an opening troop compartment to much to ask for the APC?
@WeightofFire4 жыл бұрын
madmusial yes agree they are less dynamic in posing for sure. Lack of internal detailing I’m sure was a cost decision as well. I do really like their squatness and style though

@@WeightofFire I can certainly understand liking the look and cost factor. For me they would be more attractive if they had just the smallest extra detail like an opening door. Debating now after your video thoughay have to get one and see what I can do to modify a rear hatch.

I really want to get these models. I have a lot of Asterian models but im a big fan of these forge father tanks. Maybe you should give us some good news about warpath to encourage us to all buy =D.

Adam Kinne if I had any news I’d share it. Lovely models though

Good review. Love me some FF but those tanks are just not doing it for me. Maybe as an urban vehicle yeah but the sloped front armour wound be digging itself into the ground pretty fast imho. I've not played Warpath before because of the lack of armoured vehicles for all the factions. Deadzone is a sweetspot and i love to put it on the table for sure Spread the Plague. I might evenn try out Firefight at some point. And as Always Weight of Fire is making good and solid vids on Mantic Games stuff.

@@WeightofFire Seems like hacking off the side "horns" that project from the track sections would go a long way toward making them look less like they're about to imbed themselves in the ground every time they hit an irregularity. Maybe trim the smaller central hull horns as well, and possibly even re-shape the angle of the hull on the track guards at the front so it angles up instead of down. Re-mount the bulldozer blade higher up as well and they'd look a lot more plausible for cross-country work. Whether it's worth the effort to make your giant space-beard-tanks look more realistic is highly debatable, of course. :)
