Immerse yourself in the mesmerizing world of blacksmithing as I silently forge Mjolnir - the mythical hammer of Thor - with my hands. This video is a visual feast, a testimony to the sheer power and beauty that lie in the act of creation.
Watch metal being skillfully molded, a block of steel gradually transforming into one of Norse mythology's most iconic symbols - Thor's Hammer Mjolnir.
This crafting process creates the ultimate handcrafted Mjolnir, a testament to the art of forging.
In this Mjolnir forging video, you will witness:
- The transformation of raw steel into a masterful Mjolnir build
- Every strike and glow of the forging process, creating a visually gripping journey
- A forging craft like no other, resulting in a Mjolnir.
Although there is no commentary, the actions speak volumes. The video captures the authentic and raw essence of forging specialty Marvel crafts without a word.
Marvel at the beauty of silent crafting and witness the captivating process of creating a Mjolnir cosplay prop - all from your own home. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoyed this visual spectacle of forging Mjolnir.
About me:
Hi! My name is Philip and one of the people behind Lufolk. I have always been interested in the simple things in life. When I look back on history I get inspired and fascinated by the people who came up with all the smart solutions to make our everyday life easier. What you can accomplish with a few tools and great skills is impressive. The first time I got that feeling: I made this! This will be useful! Was when I made a wooden spoon as a kid. And think that was the start, I have ever since been interested in making things.

Thor was a blacksmith too. Thor's hammer makes "thunder" and "lightning", the sound and sparks of a hammer hitting an anvil. The "mith" in blacksmith has same origin as "Mithra" and "Myth". Mi/My = Mercury (Wise god). Th = Thor (creator god). So, the "mith" means, wise creator. Thor = Jupiter (sacred metal, TIN), his son Módi = Mars (sacred metal, IRON)

I shouldn't watch your videos so close to midnight. You always inspire me to make something and the temptation to go fire up the forge for some late night smithing becomes unbearable.

I'm going to try and make one of these next time i'm out forging. I wear a Mjolnir daily so it would be awesome if it was one that i made myself. Is there a particular advantage to using the Hardy hole tool at 1:50? Can I just use the edge of my anvil? Also Great video! I love the lighting you use now!

Absolutely, go for it. I got a very special Mjölner I made that I am wearing all the time. You can use the edge of your anvil but you will probably have to draw more material for the shaft of the hammer, otherwise it will be difficult to hold with tongs. But that is the only reason I am using the Hardy Hole tool. I like to be able to hold the Mjölner horizontal in line with my anvil. Thank you very much for your feedback!

Hello. Can you please tell me the dimensions of the metal sheet. I tried to make the hammer from a round bar 10 mm diameter but I see from a rectangular one it is easy.
