I have same problem Renee L wrote about.. I set my own combination and turned it around to lock it and somehow it is locked but the hook is not in the hole.

I’ve got this lock and use it at the gym. The other day I pulled it out of my gym bag and it was open but pushed in the down position. I tried to set it back to 000 because my regular combo isn’t working. I just want to be able to push it back in and lock it but the “hook” is stuck in the closed position, but out of hole. Any tips?

These locks are absolute junk and I would never trust them to secure anything.
