How do you play this with the HD mod ? I tried this on the HD client but when the hero moves the game crashes. But this doesn't happen to the normal client.

I've actually warmed up to this version of the town over the last weeks. But still, the stats on that Dreadnought bother me, they should be way higher:(

It was a bit sad to see that mod replaces town - unlike VCMI that adds. Also there is no questmap - which replaced with blackscreen and words "non implemented yet" (and yes there also MDT alien pixelised picture on those screen). Also get crash when hero wisits mage guild with replaced spell. But this is nice mod to mod, let`s hope it evolve further.

Tylko,że to właśnie idealnie wpasowuje się w świat M&M.Poza hereosami istnieją jeszcze gry rpg w tym uniwersum gdzie walczysz z przybyszami z innych światów.Uniwersum Hirołsów to opowieść o cywilizacjach,które zatraciły kontakt z swoimi twórcami i cofnęły si technologicznie do średniowiecza.

@@SaturnineXTS jakiś czas temu był wywiad z jednym z twórców, gdzie niby potwierdził to z Aniołami-androidami, ale nie wiadomo czy to faktycznie serio i czy pozostali członkowie się zgadzają [bo były głosy że nie], no i najważniejsze że w grze akurat nie ma o tym wzmianki, więc niejako można sobie dopisać co się chce i będzie pasować, pewność jest tylko co do Inferno sugerując się serią M&M.

@@SirKotok There's a VCMI version of HoTA and you should be able to have Forge with HoTA at the same time. I mean I have both WOG and HoTA activated with other mods and it's working fine. The only issue is that you're not always up to date with the current version of HoTA and some stuff are missing. Well, I guess sacrifices must be done

@@WagnerWarner I didnt know there is VCMI version of hota! thanks for the info! can u give me the link cause i couldnt find it when i tryed before. + when u have both hota and WOG wouldnt they break completely? i mean there are changes in wog that shouldnt really be comatable with hota arent there?

@@SirKotok Here's the link of most mods (wiki.vcmi.eu/Mod_list). Well have never played HoTA but recently installed it on my WoGed VCMI and it doesn't cause any harm to my heroes 3. I guess it shows that VCMI modding can be very versatile and compatible. On my VCMI I have Cove, Forge and few more town (including my own) with WoG/Forge and some other mechanic mod and no crash whatsoever to this day. However, VCMI version of WoG/HoTA are not complete I guess since some features are unsupported in VCMI yet (such as WoG scripts)

Seen that Forge mod already. Not a big fan of either the lineup, or the creatures' stats. Originally, the Forge creatures were supposed to be the strongest in the entire game, balanced by low growth. This is well-made for sure, but I suppose I'll wait for the HotA team's official Forge (in fact, I've been waiting for it with bated breath for a long time now :P)

Personally, I despise the "shield bearers" more than anything, they don't fit the rest of the town aesthetic choices (which is a lot of skin and post-punk/skinhead style clothes) . Where is cyber zombie?

HotA pracuje nad własnym Forge jeśli się nie mylę. I to w sumie lepiej, bo tutejsze jednostki mają bardzo mało imponujące statystyki, co idzie na przeciw zamysłowi oryginalnych twórców (jednostki miały być najsilniejsze w swojej klasie)

@@SaturnineXTS akurat statystyki to coś co łatwo zmienić, zwłaszcza że HOTA zmienia balans nawet oryginalnych, do tego te Forge z tymi statystykami całkiem nieźle sobie radzi w VCMI z którego jest wzięte pod ten mod, tyle że tam jednostki maja swoje zdolności, tu niestety ich brak, przez co są słabsze, bo choćby regeneracja 30 Hp + zdolność specjalna po ataku blokująca kontratak gdy siądzie, to ciekawe połączenie, w porównaniu z pustą jednostką, ze średnimi statami i bez skili, choć te początkowe nawet są dość mocne porównując do innych miast.

I know that technology is technically part of the M&M world but it just doesn't fit in to HOMM in my opinion. sorry guys but this looks like shit, truly depressing.
