Didn't you think that the hero specialised on the drake golems are imbalansed? upd. First strike is very interesting ability. I thought that will look nice only in heroes IV, but it's looks great here too. When the dragons almost dead the ability doesn't work?

The hero specialized on the drake golems most probably won't have the specialization working like the other creature specializations. In other words: the bonus would be balanced in some way or another.

First Strike has quite simple mechanics in VCMI. Just attack first once per turn. Remaining HP doesn't matter.

First strike is counted as common counterattack, so until dragon golem hasn't unlimited counterattacks like griffin, it can do it only once per turn :P
