Please bring Fuad back on FoF... He's a great blade Smith. He only lost because he did a mistake in making the handle for his jumonji. Other than that his was the best blades that we saw in the episode...when his handle broke even the judges looked so disappointed

So the first dude gets eliminated because of the strength test. But the judge said he held it lower on the handle lower because of the better handle shape thus generating more force which of course deals more damage. The judges really need to hold them all at the same point to be fair.

I most certainly wouldn’t have been upset to have that knife. Making such a comfortable to hold and thus easier to swing harder made him come in third instead of second. I guess the lesson is make the knife to pass the tests and not one to be the best as you see fit.

Most of the time it also involves proper use and handling of the knives. Like considering it as your friend. Not just smashing it like you wanna destroy it. No disrespect but I don't think it's the proper way of chopping a bamboo.

I mean a handle can be grounded down to fit more into the hand, which would take what, 10 minutes at the most to make sure it's nice? But the blade, getting the hardening and tempering right, that is far where you have to do it right... the first time.

I find the handle comments annoying cause when asked the judges wont give you info. I mean if I'm making a handle for Shaq or the hobbit the handle is gonna be different and comfortable for the one it's made for. Index I can understand them commenting on.

Why is there no method of standardization in this series if the prize pool is so large. Have more scientific findings. Hold a control thoughout all of the tests in order to allevaite any chance of spurrious relationships.
