I don't know much about it, but from my understanding, they don't have particularly strict standards when it comes to the temperatures the metal is forged at or something like that. I may be wrong, but I just thought I'd share my 2 cents on the matter.

I still return to this video years later, not only to reminisce its beauty, but to fulfill my motivation completely for when I train day after day. Witnessing the destruction and creation of Rogue’s barbells enlists a journey , the journey that barbell’s go through just as much evolution as we people do. I watched this advertisment / masterpiece on another KZbin video as an add that showed in the middle of the video. It's so amazing to watch and so we'll made that I had to head over here to give it a like. It is the only commercial on KZbin that I willing watched the whole thing sense I have started watching KZbin and to find out at the end it was for barbells, wow mind blown. I didn’t even know what this was a commercial for. I was captivated. 30 seconds in and I knew this was the best video I have seen in a long time. I freaking cheered when I realized it was a barbell. I’m a Crossfit trainer and I work with these exact bars everyday. That was the biggest twist ending for me. 1000/10 would watch forever.

When this comes on as an ad, I almost always watch the whole thing. I even forget I’m waiting on an ad for another video, so when the other video comes on i’m surprised. For decades, I have been using gym equipment from the 90s, BUT because my equipment was made in the USA, it will last forever. Still, I figure the time is approaching for me to upgrade my equipment. It is hard to find a company that still manufactures their equipment in the USA. Even Rogue does not manufacture everything in the USA, but they do more manufacturing in the USA than any other fitness company, and for that reason, I will be looking to upgrade my gym equipment with them. It might cost twice as much, but I think it is worth it.
