@@owievisie you could automate the chamfer on that puck with a robot arm. You could make those handles on a CNC lathe with a bar feeder. You could automate the friction welding with a robot arm.. And the worst part of this video, the mould they use.. my god a injection mold with 0 injectors and worn too? i mean bruh.. (its worn given the flashing aka the excess material on the side of the weights). A vertical injection mold machine with injectors and a robot arm could automate this and if the mould is done right it should also have basically no flashing so you don't have to clean them after. So the only real thing that still has to be done manually is material stocking. So technically speaking almost everything could be automated but given the fact that they are probably cheaper than any robot would cost.. it is what it is.

@@reditoao I'd say it's cheaper to cast a dumbell in one go instead of having tons of manual steps and friction welded parts
@salflores12022 ай бұрын
@@MushookieMan To cast it all at once, you'd need a furnace to melt iron ore and then cast it. The energy required for that would make the process less economically viable. Equipment cost would be significantly higher as well. Plus, you'd have to get the casting perfect every time-any defects or unevenness would mean starting over. If you scaled this up, say to 100 units per melt, you'd likely encounter defects statistically. With this method, the steel is already melted and shaped, so it only requires a few steps to assemble, making it more efficient overall.

At what stage do they treat them like gold? They just throw them around, aint even cleaning shit like the shaving from the saw before turning it. Thank you from America. This goes out to all the Chinese factory workers who have worked for pennies and died to make our goods.

These dumbells are those cheap ones that smell like tar and leaves black print on your hands after a while

Some dumbbells are over 100 pounds a piece, I'm impressed by the maker toss them around daily. PS, I've used hex dumbbells for over 35 years, never once occurred to me how they were made. Great video.

I don't know man, you would most likely overwork your muscles since your getting paid so little and probably working 12 hours a day and getting little to no sleep and barely eating so I don't think its a dream job
