When you play this Fmaj7, you play an open E bass string. For that you have to lift the top of your index finger. You get a partial barr. Good luck figuering out. Greetings Frans

I borrowed an old guitar from my sister who had lessons years ago, but didn't play anymore. There are many people who have an old (lesson) guitar for no use. Otherwise try to get e cheap one. It's only for a short periode till you know what you want. Greetings frans
