To me it’s easily the best D2 experience that exists today and one of the top 3-5 Arpgs out there. They’ve done such an awesome job staying true to the soul of the game while adding great new content and challenges that will keep you grinding for hours. Love it.

REMODDED is really good too but it’s way different in the sense that it’s a lot harder till you get your runewords and stuff. Missles in general are really overtuned in bonesys mod.

Hello! I just reinstalled PD2 and couldnt find a hotkey for move command. I couldnt even find a workaround with left right move click and bind it to hotkey somehow. I swear it was possible like 6 months ago, but I cant figure it out what has changed. This is very annoying relying on only left click to be able to move. Furthermore, the Hotkey D didnt seem to work at all, like I wanted to set the Paladin Skill Sacrfice to D, but he either attacked just once or not at all, whereas other hotkeys (e.g. E or W) worked totally fine. did you have any of those issues?

Hmmmm, I only know of the move command as the left click skill and that's where I use it. Maybe ask in the pd2 discord for further guidance? I'm sorry I can't help more!

Holy shit, this mod really is what D2 should've become if only Blizzard kept updating it. It fixes almost all the issues I had with the base game - very stingy drop rates, *terrible* balancing, slow leveling (or at least it feels like it's less grindy - maybe it's just more fun and therefore less tedious) and some items being basically a must have, with others being useless. Melee splash is also a massive win IMO. I only wish they removed immunities from normal mobs in Hell, but i guess you can't have everything.

Yes it is! You can even play the game on the Plugy with even more modded stuff for better drops and exp and whatnot if you'd like.

@@Crovenko make sure you have the plugy.ini also installed. If it is, go to the properties of that file and add -3dfx to the end of the .exe parameters

I’ve been playing single player project d2 for a bit now, I’m a 20 year d2 vet and one of the first things I’ve noticed is the drop rates are higher then what I’m used to. What are your thoughts on this, specifically regarding single player ?

yeah they've adjusted the drop rates a little, but it doesn't feel too much imo, you still get that good dopamine hit when something rare drops

Back in the day , I was 16 years old playing 12 hours a day, now I’m 32 and I only play 3 hours a day at the most. So I appreciate the opportunity to still find things in my limited time, but i still think it’s a tad too high.

@@flonkas That's fair! You bring up a good point of being in your mid-30s with only a couple of hours to play at a time. That's what most of us are, so I think most of us are happy to have a higher drop chance. Some can only play 30min, so it's even nicer to actually see things drop

@@varyktv Thanks man. Excellent vid. Your explanation is very concise. I appreciate that a lot. Right now I'm playing the Belzebub HD mod for D1. It is what D1 should have been. It has some crafting, Unique and set items, bigger belt and stash and new characters etc. It is pretty good except for that HORRIBLE grind. Haha. The grind is really bad. But this mod for D2 and there are a lot of them out there, looks really great. From what you have shown in this video it is probably what D2 should have been. I like features such as rerolling of items. Often you find items that are just not right which renders it completely useless. Shared stash. Charm inventory And the new skills looks nice. Crafting Maps looks nice too. I was going insane with Baal's laughter back in the day. I guess the rebalancing of the game is superb too. I take your word for it. I should try this. And don't play D4 indeed. Blizzard is not the same company anymore. That one looks a little bit better than I was expecting to be fair, but you shouldn't support those guys. They are seriously after your money only. Look at Diablo Immoral for example. They're going to do the same thing to D4. Anyway, sorry for the little bit of long read and rant. Thanks man.

So, I have to buy the original Diablo 2 + LOD expansion to play this mod, correct? Just making sure, I already own D2R + D4.. Want to make sure it's worth it before getting the originals just to play it.. + I heard if you pirate the game they will just ban you for having a non official CD key. So... if that is the case, I'll definitely be making the purchase. Just trying to get some insight first. :p

It doesn’t at the moment. And if it ever does, no one will play d2r anymore. Pd2 is objectively the best version of d2, minus graphics. Now that I’ve played d2r I couldn’t go back to old graphics, and I kinda hate that. I wish I never knew the new graphics so I could enjoy pd2, because it owns
