You pretty much have to have your personal brand and a stack of followers already. Then you can sell ice to the eskimos, as it were. If they like you, they’ll buy into whatever you’re selling. If you already have graphic design and marketing skills and understand demographics and how people *need* to be part of a trend, you’re already half way there. The average person who doesn’t get their “personality” all over TikTok and other platforms, won’t be anywhere near as successful as to sell $800k to $1mil in t-shirts a year!
@Wade_NZ4 ай бұрын
Yep, I have come to the same conclusion myself. That's why for my project I am starting with trying to build an instagram/Tiktok following first....well, thats the plan. The Insta course I am following along with, the guy built a 40k following in 4 months...so here is hoping I can replicate that sort of success!

You can be bitter, or you can just open your eyes and realize there are KOL for hire. Ofc you would have to spend more but the guy does that himself so he saved some more money, that's all. Come to a business channel with a business mind, you're here without the right mindset I think. You should see more self-help video first, imho.
@pixiemoon30203 ай бұрын
@@skyeriouspieceofmind6138 It’s merely my observation of many successful and unsuccessful people over the years. Those that built fan base/followers via personality and marketing skills = Get more $$$ales. No followers = Empty shop = No sales. It still requires a decent sized audience with eyes on via paid advertising/good marketing skills, the algorithms, social proof engagement and shares by existing or new followers with emotional buy-in on the trend, if you’re going to make the big bucks in one year as being spoken of in this video. I didn’t “come to a business channel”. It came to me via YT’s algorithms and I engaged, which is also how this content creator makes money. Not sure what triggered you to identify with my comment as being “bitter”. That sounds like projection imho. Perhaps it’s you who should first see more self-help videos to find out why 😉😊✌🏼

1. You need a lot of followers already. I mean alot. 2. These are followers that engage too. Not bots or you bought the traffic like a farm, which is waste of time and can get you later banned. 3. Other alternative is you pay for advertising to attract targeted traffic which is costly. 4. Or your setting yourself up to failure. You got to have numbers i.e. followers first. So build that first if you want this to succeed. 5. Make sure you own your list of followers. Maybe lead them to subscribe optin form. Lead them to your website cause if for some reason socioal media shadow bans you for whatever reason or you lose all your content, you will then lose all your followers and have to start again. Having built your email list means you don't start all over again.

How does he get such great margins? My "COST PRICE" for a cheap Gildan 5000 single side printed T-shirt with Printify is $40 CAD ($29 USD) including delivery. No custom tags or anything...just a single print on the front of the shirt. To make even just one dollar or so profit with all the fees and after taxes these basic quality t-shirts would have to sell for nearly $50 CAD/ $36.50USD each..To clear only a dollar or 2! ...Is PRINTFUL that much better than PRINTIFY? Maybe it's just the Canadian Printify partners making it near impossible to profit?
