Height over bore is only an issue if you haven’t proven the system after you change something. This is especially a problem if you use a military style battle sight zero and you put the holo or dot on a riser but don’t change your zero. It’s also a problem if you use a BDC. it will change. Once you set it up and prove it, its good to go. Great video, thanks.

Watched a Scoped Carbine video from Dirty Civilian. I recommend your channel in the comments. I've learned alot from your videos. It would be cool to see a colab video on the topic one day. 👍🇺🇸

Appreciate that man. Yea they put together a good vid covering a lot of topics broadly. I try to do very specific pieces of intel. Makes it better for more vids in the long run lol

I was able to understand what he was talking about from watching your videos. That's why I recommend your channel so other people could get a more detailed breakdown. I know it has been valuable to me. Keep up the good work.

The insane MDT mount is what I immediately thought of. Thing was literally over a foot tall. The new Nightforce pairs nicely with that tactacam. Crisp footage 👌

I'm going to that same range in about 90 minutes!

Q: So when shooting longer ranges, need to make sure your scope is zeroed and only worry about elevation here and there deepening on all types of variables and scope for windage? *New to long range shooting* Thanks!
@WeaponSnatcher2 ай бұрын
This question is really confusing. You always, regardless of discipline, need to make sure whatever you're using for a sight is zeroed. For long range, you need your elevation for hitting targets. Same for wind. Not really sure what you're asking ?
@NateJ00112 ай бұрын
@@WeaponSnatcher I apologize.i think I get the gist of it. Basically use my reticle to correct my POI at longer ranges rather than keep adjusting my turrets and ruining my initial zero I had for the rifle.
@WeaponSnatcher2 ай бұрын
@NateJ0011 no you can use your turrets. The 0 on them is for your zero. Turrets are meant to be used a lot. It's holding and dialing. 2 diff methods.
@MrCashewkittyАй бұрын
@@NateJ0011if your new to distance shooting, do a bunch of reading and watching videos about mils, moa, turrets, etc. It will be confusing at first, but pretty simple when you get it. If your just shooting out to 3 or 4 hundred, you can most likely just use the BDC in your reticle...as long as you've trued them for your ammo and barrel length

Should cang it to HOB for long range / PRS / Competition. On can manage with holds at shorter ranges too, being mindful of barricades. The 'fudds' that wanted it as low as possible ain't dumb. A different use case under different circumstances. Animal runs towards you, split second time, heart in high gear, rifle comes up, stock digging in the cheek and still a decent hit. They don't look through the glass all the time. In a different context, less room for error trumps comfort. Sticking one's head out further and further in another context might also matter. Seeing things through a few different lenses can avoid unnecessary drama & conflict.
