This is another one of those "I sketched this well over a year ago, started finishing it 6 months ago, forgot about it, came back to finish it while silently cringing about the art style" videos. I've gone through about maybe four(ish) style changes since this was sketched? So.... definitely awkward haha!
This PMV takes us through Boar's perspective on things Post-Exile, while also giving a short origin story into how Boar and Dove met!
Story:
100 years after her exile, Boar has created a world of her own to live in. As she debates returning to Dove, she takes a look into the mortal realm. Noticing Canarylight, she goes down to talk to him, not realizing her presence would leave a (literal) mark on the cat.
(NOTE: the story does a bit of a skip here, having meant to come after the events of Moonlight/Sunrise: • Moonlight/Sunrise- A J... . Basically, Dove and Boar each take three of their 6 god-children. Juniper (Dove's), the God of Death, attempts to kill Dahlia (Boar's), the God of Life, and become both the God of Life and Death).
After Dahlia's death, Boar spends most of her days moping around, not feeling much of a motive to continue her interference with mortals. Poppy, the God of Prophecy, begins to try more disdain for her mother because of her actions, and all Boar can do is stare.
Then, we get a flashback to how Boar and Dove met. Dove came into existence as a flying otter, and helped to create the oceans in the mortal realm. Boar and Dove bomb despite their species differences. Hundreds of years later, the two decide to become cats, a sign that they would be gods focused on the domestic cat species for thousands of years to come. And, of course, they're in love! Happy pride!!

I love the presentation of Boar being such a tragic character. You can see so much love between Boar and Dove and the hurt on Boar's face after the exile but has accepted their fate. Even the sadness on their childrens' faces makes it more tragic for Boar Beautifully well done, and happy pride!
