@ravik3058 Being present during an exam with short-term memory loss can be challenging, but try focusing on strategies like repetition, mnemonic devices, and staying calm. These can help improve recall. Don't be too hard on yourself-do your best, and consider talking to your teacher for any additional support you might need.

I'm 40 yrs of age and have both complex ptsd and adhd diagnosis. Struggling with severe short term memory impairment for a lifetime.. My only strategy is writing notes/reminders and repeating info over and over... When the motivation to follow this strategy is at its lowest, I'm lost..😢

@yuliakarpilovsky9496 It sounds incredibly challenging to navigate daily life with complex PTSD and ADHD, especially when dealing with memory impairment. Relying on notes and reminders is a great strategy, but it can be tough when motivation dips. Consider incorporating additional supportive practices, like setting small, achievable goals or using visual cues in your environment to help trigger memory. Mindfulness and grounding techniques might also assist in enhancing focus and motivation when you’re feeling lost. Don’t hesitate to reach out to a mental health professional who can provide tailored strategies and support. Remember, you’re not alone in this, and there are ways to make things more manageable! 💕

Why does it say I watched this before?
@MedicalCentric
@MedicalCentric 13 күн бұрын
@TartofJelly It could be that the content you're watching has been recommended to you based on your previous viewing history. Sometimes platforms recognize your preferences and suggest videos you've seen before or similar ones. You might also have watched it accidentally or it could be a glitch. If it keeps happening, you could try clearing your browsing history or adjusting your recommendation settings!

I am 19 and i forget things just in seconds of time... it feels very hard to study because i should memorize long answers for my exams life is totally hard now 😭

@Chandhana1510 I’m really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It must be really frustrating to struggle with memory, especially when studying for exams. It could help to break your study sessions into smaller, more manageable chunks, take regular breaks, and try different memory techniques like visualization, mnemonics, or spaced repetition. Sometimes, stress or anxiety can affect memory, so focusing on self-care-like sleep, nutrition, and relaxation-can also make a difference. If your memory issues persist, it might be helpful to talk to a healthcare professional to rule out anything else that could be impacting your memory. You’re doing your best, and it’s okay to ask for support when you need it. You've got this! 💙

@ravik3058 It sounds like you've been dealing with short-term memory challenges for a long time, which can be frustrating. There are ways to manage and improve memory, such as practicing memory exercises, staying organized with notes or reminders, and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle (sleep, exercise, and reducing stress). It's also a good idea to consult a healthcare professional, like a neurologist, to explore any underlying causes and get personalized advice or treatment options. You're not alone-there is support out there!

Short term memory loss is spiritual! GOD controls what you remember! He is trying to speak to you! 🤯

@DEADDEMONS410 It’s interesting to hear your perspective on memory loss! Spiritual beliefs can offer a comforting and personal way to interpret life’s challenges. However, short-term memory loss can also have medical causes like stress, sleep issues, or other health conditions. It might be worth exploring both spiritual and medical perspectives to understand what’s going on. Taking care of your mental and physical health is key, and finding balance in both areas can help you feel more centered.
