Karen-Marie Quilling
Quilling is a paper hobby for creatives and it’s easy to get started. The main material are paper strips of different widths (e.g. 3mm, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 35mm). The strips are rolled, wound, shaped and sometimes cut as well. The most widely used tools is our quillingpen, quillingcomb, form finger, circle template, tweezers, pins, scissors, foamboards and gauges. Amazing works can be created with quilling figures and techniques. Quilling is great for the fine motor skills - and it is not difficult, therefore everybody can quill. However, for children we recommend to be around 8 years old to develop the skills for quilling. Some of the most popular quilling techniques are penquilling, 3D-quilling and combquilling. ”Mindful Quilling” is a fantastic way to reduce stress, since many feel calm while quilling. It’s almost like meditation to complete stars or mandalas with different colours and shapes. Our tip: If you would like to try quilling for the first time but you don’t have the materials or tools, then try with narrow strips and a toothpick - it’s not ideal but it’s better than nothing. Quilling ist ein Papierhobby für Kreative und der Einstieg ist einfach. Das Hauptmaterial sind Papierstreifen mit verschiedenen Breiten (z.B. 3 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm und 35 mm). Die Streifen werden gerollt, gewickelt, geformt und manchmal auch geschnitten. Das am häufigsten verwendete Werkzeug ist unser Quillingpen, Quillingcomb, Formfinger, Circle Template, Pinzette, Stecknadel, Schere, Foamboard und Messplatten. Mit Quillingfiguren und - techniken lassen sich erstaunliche Werke schaffen. Quilling ist für die Feinmotorik großartig - und es ist nicht schwierig, deswegen kann jeder quillen. Für Kinder empfehlen wir jedoch, etwa 8 Jahre alt zu sein, um die Fähigkeiten zum Quillen zu entwickeln. Einige der beliebtesten Quilling-Techniken sind Penquilling, 3D-Quilling und Combquilling. "Mindful Quilling" ist fantastisch um Stress abzubauen, da sich viele beim Quillen ruhig fühlen. Es ist fast wie Meditation, Sterne oder Mandalas in verschiedenen Farben und Formen zu vervollständigen. Unser Tipp: Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal das Quillen ausprobieren möchten, aber keine Materialien oder Werkzeuge haben, probieren Sie es mit schmalen Streifen und einem Zahnstocher - es ist nicht ideal, aber besser als nichts. Fantastiske værker kan skabes med quillingfigurer og teknikker. Quilling er godt for finmotorikken - og det er ikke svært, så alle kan være med. Dog til børn anbefaler vi at være omkring 8 år for at udvikle færdigheder til quilling. Nogle af de mest populære quilling teknikker er penquilling, 3D-quilling og kamquilling.
