Forget the Baking Soda! The Most Effective and Robust Adhesive I Have Ever Seen

With super glue and baking soda, you can firmly adhere many objects. Carbonate is known to provide a very strong adhesion. But if you want the adhesion to be even stronger, it may make more sense to use the graphite. You can easily make this mixture at home. You can make a more robust repair using the graphite. Fix anything broken. Watch this video to learn this repair trick.

The amount of stuff I have been able to easily fix after first seeing this video is crazy. There's been times where I would have literally had to throw qeuipment out because small inexpensive parts broke and it was impossible to find replacements anywhere. This trick works wonders on a lot of things.

putting the video at a speed of 0.25 you can see that the stick is turning in the direction of taking the waste to the top of the tool, so it seems that the direction of rotation was correct in the graphite. I suspect that fraffite, because it has carbon, facilitates covalent chemical bonds and would be stronger because of the bonding chemistry and not because of the hardness of the graphite powder. Someone gave a tip about crushing fiberglass wool and it could be that I got a lot stronger even if I mixed it because the glass powder is very hard

Try with volcanic ash, the result gives a refractory qualitative characteristic, I use it for insulation in soldering irons and pyrographs, because it lacks conductivity.I am not minimizing your formula, it is simply that it seems "super" conductive to me due to the natural properties of graphene, I use it to repair control panels, generally of my ovens.

I REALLY don't recommend using ANY kind of superglue composite for "insulation in soldering irons" or other "refractory" uses. Cyanoacrylate fumes are outright nasty and no amount of reinforcement is gonna prevent that, not even volcanic ash.

Far simpler to get yourself a bottle of graphite powder available from any hardware store or auto parts outlet. The only disadvantage I can see in using graphite powder instead of baking soda is the resulting BLACK colour of the adhesive which may de unsightly on some jobs. @Frendh
@Frendh 7 ай бұрын
@@blancodelaney9917 Pencil lead is usually graphite. Not sure what the graphite/clay ratio is in pencil lead. But graphite has much better tensile strength than clay. So graphite powder is most likely much better. Adding an aggregate to super glue will decrease the "bondage". It becomes less adhesive. But the superglue becomes a better building material when you add graphite.

Isn't it strange that graphite is not only an effective component in adhesion, but is also a very efficient lubricant at the same time?

Actually it get even stranger when you think that graphite is basically the same 'ingredients' there are on diamonds.

@KeyStroke no because when you think of the structure of graphite it's made of large flat sheets of hexagonal carbon lattices which would lubricate between sliding surfaces or be bound tightly by an adhesive just like a carbon fiber tennis racquet both properties are enhanced by its molecular structure.

@@girottos are you sure about that? I thought diamonds were mostly carbon. similar to coal.
