Wow Tyler, you're lucky to have a dad that knows so much about guitars, Amps, recording, and music! I couldn't tell which was which. One was brighter, and one was darker. I would have preferred a tone right in between the two. If I had to guess, I'd say Tone A was Helix Native. But, I'm pretty sure you could dial them in to sound almost identical. I hope you do that in the reveal. Thanks

I think that tone A is the Helix, and tone B is the Spider. Both usable tones but, In my opinion, tone A would sit much better in a mix as tone B was a little muddier, though I’m sure you could EQ it to be closer if required.

I would say B is spyder. Also in my experience if you switch to classic speaker mode it does not really matter what else you choose as a cabinet. classic is kinda a pre defined speaker and i like it as it seem to be midrange focused and close to what i am used to.

A is Spyder. B is Helix. Honestly both are good. The little Spyder sounds great.

If you're using the Spider V on the "Classic" mode the type of microphone, cab and the early reflexions are deactivated. You need to set it on the Full Range mode to use that features. Also I disagree to use the same EQ recipe, with a better EQ both could sound more similar to make it harder.

This is true! If Jason had set the cab on full range instead of classic, they would have sounded much closer. The Spider track was created with no cab model which is why it was so bright. BTW, I have a Spider V 240 and it's a great amp. I've gigged with it with excellent results.

Gonna go with my gut and say tone A is the helix and tone B is the spider. Based purely on the crispness of the top end in tone A and going from my own experience Of the solo amp model and the brightness of a lot of the models in helix with the high cut off in the speaker block
