I just want to say, if you don’t like the video, don’t WATCH the video. But I however LIKED IT, love the energy, we def need more independent blade smith’s on KZbin. Brings more attention and awe towards blacksmithing / blade smithing and knife making

So @ 0:40 you should consider putting a BIG (probably the size of your hand 🤷♂ maybe) NEODYMIUM MAGNET inside a Ziploc and attaching it to the table right on the corner, on the side facing you, so that it collects all the shavings/dust and you put it inside a Ziploc so that when you're ready to collect your grindings you just fold the bag inside-out around the magnet and BAM you got a bag full of free metal powder (and it's already pre-mixed to give you that old school TV Static look to- your fill when you do a canister forge!! ET VOILA!) - AND you have a TOTALLY CLEAN MAGNET!!! :D PLUS you'll be keepin your floor nice and clean!!! lol

Your quality in everything you do from the craftsmanship in your blades and the entertainment in your videos, everything is on point! Well done! Dude that video quality and your personality mixed with your professional process and the finished product the entire project was amazing to watch I absolutely love how excited you got and that sword is beautiful the lower layer count really makes it pop and I'm no historical expert but I feel like when they weren't using power tools they weren't making hundred thousand layers so the simplistic nature I feel makes this sword more historically accurate and more beautiful at the same time this was one of my favorite videos to watch and I loved that you gave credit to the people you learned certain techniques from I look forward to more content from you keep up the excellent work much appreciated that's how it's fuckin done boys.

Thank you!! I really appreciate that and you taking the time to watch the video! I’m glad you enjoyed it! And yes! I really loved the idea of keeping the pattern more bold like that, I felt like it had a lot more purpose and beauty then had I just increased the layer account or done something else that’s rather stereotypical of Damascus! I’m happy that you found value in it as well! God bless!

I had never seen your videos before and it's obvious that you really know your stuff. I'm also impressed that you studied under the Stagmer Bros and Iliya at Baltimore Knife and Sword. HOWEVER, . . . when you over act and do goofy stuff, those antics detract from your presentation. For the viewer, it's kinda like seeing a juicy looking hamburger then taking a bite only to find the beef has a shit core inside. Honestly, you're already SO GOOD at explaining and blacksmithing that you don't need to fool around with infantile behaviors / speech. Only KZbin dweebs and newbies do that stuff. Just be you, get collaborations with popular knife makers and you'll do great earning our respect and a ton of subs.
@IanZ_ForgeАй бұрын
Thank you for that and for checking out the video!! I really appreciate it! Also just for transparency I never went to the Baltimore Knife and Sword Shop; whenever I took the classes I went to their own shops respectively and learned a ton thankfully! They’re both awesome smiths and I was honored to have the ability to learn from them, especially from Ilya and the inlay work. I have a long way to go still but I thank you for being here with me on the journey! God bless
@barrysnell6775Ай бұрын
What if being goofy *is* him "being himself," eh dickweed? Ever think about that? And there you go, literally telling him he's shit inside, while wrapping the insult up inside the facade of politeness and pseudo-constructive criticism, not even having the balls to just straight up say so like a man. Nobody else had a problem with him goofing off. Seems like you're the only one. That's called a "clue." Now show us your videos. Let's see how a "professional" does it. I notice you don't have anything posted under your account, so you must have another channel with hundreds of "professional" videos on it, right? Right, Bill?? Right?
@ForgeEmbersandReliquaАй бұрын
Have you considered that the antics are the organic part? What you’ve just said is “just be you, but only be the version of you that gives me the informative presentation that happens to be inherently *not* you because I want to only see the you that is geared specifically for me to watch” You then compared the only truly organic aspect of any person full of vigor to a shit filled hamburger.

I stop watching the video cause you are shouting too much, you speak too fast and the background music is irrelative. Most people watch these videos to fall asleep, all those things are very annoying. Good luck

I appreciate the comment! Full disclosure, I intend for my videos to be motivating and get people to be excited about doing this craft; I don’t intend for them to be another compilation of ASMR working clips that lead to an end result. There are a lot of other awesome channels like that on this platform, and if I may, check out Freerk Weiringers Swordsmithing channel on here, as he makes awesome videos that fit what you’re looking for 🤠 God bless and thanks for checking out the video nonetheless!
