Like the non-talking style you have chosen to show us the process for this chisel. You really need to make more YT videos. As much as I love your IG posts, it's great to "see" you in action. Again, thanks for the video!!!👍❤️️

Oh that's lovely! I've been working on chisels for a few months now so I can really appreciate that more than I could have a year ago. Well done!

Your a very good smith. It's a pleasure to watch you. When you forge something like the socket for the chisel on the anvil it will go more quickly and be better for you metal structure to forge it in the V of the step of the anvil and the face. I learned that from having breakfast with one of Samuel Yellin's former smiths, Max Segal, at the ABANA Conference in Lumpkin, GA in 1974. You can use harder hand blows and tape more quickly. Your chisel is simply beautiful.

Very Nice Ethan. Wish I had known you were in TN a while back. Jordan went through the same green coal class I did and now I help teach there. Would have been great to meet you in person. I think Jordan lives about an hour to 1-1/2 hours away from me. Not bad. Take care.
