What an awesome watch! Loved it. Perhaps Sully and i and my new apprentice guy can try this in the near future! Could be fun! Blessings my friend Crawford out 🙏🏻🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️

Its a really nice flatter and quite desirable! My shame is the big lump of 1045 sitting by the door of my workshop where I put it to remind me to make a flatter and still haven't because things come up and procrastination

I truly enjoyed this video. I've only made one flatter using this process and you made it look easy.

That allows you to flatten tapers that otherwise would be interfered with by the anvil

Any particular reason you haven't fixed the swage block stand down, or at least weighted it so you don't have to chase it across your shop? Good video though keep up the good work man 👍
@SamTownsBladesmith2 жыл бұрын
I don't really have space for it to be mounted anywhere permanently and weighing it down would just make it harder to move into storage every time haha. I don't tend to use it for heavy jobs like this all that often.

Hey Sam, I am sure you get asked this all the time, but what kind of anvil is that?
