Probably the most amazing video I have seen on creating an object.

I've made several horse shoe hearts, and I never give up on one that turns out a bit awkward. Some people want them nice, others like them more 'art deco' or off centre. You always have a customer in the end. Cool video Roy!

First time I have seen this type of heart made. I really like the way the inner part turns out heart shaped as well as the outer edge. I might try one using 1/4" thick bar rather than 1/8" also. Out to the forge to make one...!!!

I can see how you can get antlers out of that before you curled the tapers. Few cuts, more tapers and a little curve here and there.....

@4:23 "this is what we should have". A mustache. That becomes a beautiful heart. Cool.

Is funny the day me and my wife got married I forged her a heart that morning it was my first and came out decent then later on I was asked to do some more hearts and just could not get them to work

Why don’t you get a ruler with metric on one side? Then all you have to do if flip it over.
@ChristCenteredIronworks6 жыл бұрын
+David Hooper I don't get a ruler with the metric system on the flip side because it is the best way that I learn to commit things to memory. Just trying to learn it by heart and be fluent in it :-)
@CodyDWorks6 жыл бұрын
well crud... now I see what I did wrong...tried making one of these last night and did a TERRIBLE job... But I see why now... i did the middle section wrong...
@ChristCenteredIronworks6 жыл бұрын
+Cody Works did you make the middle section wrong or just different? LOL thank you for the great comet I hope you have a blessed day today
@CodyDWorks6 жыл бұрын
I set the middle section completely wrong (3/4" diameter rod) which made the point VERY difficult to draw out. Intuitively I knew I was wrong but i always second guess myself so i kept trucking on the wrong way.
