When you're done forging, try thermocycling to help keep it straight during the quench. Especially if you had to straighten the steel when you first started working on it because it wants to return to that shape. Thermocycling is like encouraging the steel to behave itself and not be a little s***.

Yes! I'm trying to get into thermal cycling. Sometimes I do it off camera too.
