Id work on forging skills first before claiming to know all the tricks and create a how to vid. Just make a vid to show what you can do. Claiming to teach makes you a master, which I do not think you are even close to. Just sayin. Be humble and just further your craft without claiming to be something you are not. Forge On!!!

@jmbstudio6873 have not done any tutorials on forging, or knife making, yet. But I am going to in the future. But thank you for your advice if you need to ask me anything related to blacksmithing or knife making, shoot me a message! I got an email or Facebook Messenger either will work.

Very nice. I’ve forged a few myself. Great job fun to watch.

I love the Kukri knives, and I figured I would make one. I think some other videos of knife making are boring, so I figured I would start making my own videos with matching music tracks, and making them a but more interesting to watch! That is my own opinion tho, Thank you for watching my videos!

Very nice job! Making a kukri has always been something on my to do list. I hope to make one as good as yours someday.

Make one! But use 5160 steel for it. I don't recommend a rasp like I used. Look up K@G supplies in Showlow AZ my hometown, they sell lots of knife making supplies such as wood scales and tools.
@DrewProductions610 ай бұрын
thanks for the recommendations! I have a lot of leaf spring laying around, do you think that would be good steel?@@NMForge
@NMForge10 ай бұрын
@DrewProductions6 Oh yes, that's good, leaf spring is 5160 steel. Usually any kind of heavy spring is 5160 steel! 5160 is probably one of the best all-around use steels out there for knives and swords anyway

Dope AF results, @NMForge! Now it needs an equally dope sheath to complete the package!

Kinda looks like your hammering it cold
@NMForge7 ай бұрын
A couple of the heats was probably a bit colder than they should have been. it was also being forged in the bright sun that day so the camera didn't pick up the color of the steel correctly.
