Beautiful work! You had me a little worried before you adjusted the fitting of the guard and handle :p. I wonder why you would make the fuller go into the guard and locking the full handle so it cannot be disassembled (at least it seems that way to me)? Doesn't this makes it easier for all kind of things to go into that cavity and damage the wood? Thank you i enjoyed watching your video.

Based on its length it is clearly spatha. And the blood channel. On the Gladius Hispaniensis sword had no blood channel. But excellent work anyway!
