Forging a Steel Bracelet | Beginner Blacksmith Project

Too much time making bottle openers for mates. It's time for beginner blacksmith, Rusty Pearson to make something a little special for the Mrs. Today it's all about forging a bracelet - made to order.
This is no tutorial, but a journal of how it was done, rather than how it should be done. Enjoy the process as much as the mistakes.

Heat some scrap and try different size ball peinn hammer s gives more control to the effect 😀 great gift idea if only my wife liked them lol.great video thanks bro Anthony Kent

Great job rusty, im sure whatever finish you use will look great, if I were doing it I would quench it in transmission fluid from a high heat I would then use boiling water to remove the oil residue then brass brush the edges while its still hot, followed by a clear lacquer this should give a nice charcoal colour with brass highlights on the edges, there is a picture of a rose done this way on my channel intro, I didnt video it unfortunately

Work With Nature not clinkers mate, that’s the melted plate. I get clinkers all the time, more glass like than metal. Wife is happy! Thanks for the comment.
