It is a japanese power hammer (factory made, but not difficult to reproduce), quite difficult if not impossible to find these in the west, this one might have been brought back from japan by Carter himself

What would you guys do with a knife that a customer wants sharpened but the blade rusts Extremely quickly?

There's not much else to do to it other than lightly oiling it and trying to keep the blade dry as much as possible. Otherwise we'd need to look for blades with a different steel. --Cait

so which of the sound levels is the real one? Is the hammer that loud in person?

The hammer is extremely loud, Murray and most everyone around it wear earplugs when it is in use. I try not to use the phone when it's going haha. It's actually blowing out the GoPro's audio which is why it sounds tinny.--Cait
