Weather wise in nc, I drive on the road that had the car upside down and on fire from a decent while back now. We still bring it up every time it snows like last weekend. Knife wise, real good work!

The Super Glue finish ALSO makes for incredibly durable wood. I used it on all of the wood pens I turned and they could take an insane beating with nothing more than a chipped finish. One pen took ALL of my weight on the corner of a brand new brick wall when I jumped up to sit on it. Dinged finish nothing more. Bocote is one of my favorite exotics, along with Zebrawood.

for the fit between the wood and your integral bolster, I like to put a thin piece of copper plate in there. It's a soft enough metal that it really helps to fill in any small gaps and adds a little accent too. It significantly reduced the time it took me to get a good fit on the knives I've made. Awesome looking knife!

Hi John, nice looking knife. Ice and snow can last 6 months, in Michigan it's just a way of life. Mother Nature makes an exception for you now and then, but ice puts the skids to everyone, no matter where you live. If you don't have to travel, stay home. Take care, and thanks for sharing. 👍🔥⚒

That's a helluva nice knife, John. Joseph is one lucky bugger. The new shop is lookin' good. Could you perhaps take a few minutes in an upcoming video to give us more details on that little power hammer you've acquired? (More interested in your perspective and observations than on the specs etc., which I can find on their site.)

Been awhile since your last upload, welcome back. In any case next time you do a kitchen knife I would make a custom Platen for your grinder (50 or 60" Radius Minimum) for striking in your Fuller/"S" Grind and hold the knife reverse (Spine Up) of what you normally would as it will give you a bit more control. Other than that Nicely done, that pattern is awesome
