Love the "Iron Wood" handle! I also like the Integral Bolster! It makes the whole knife look beefier! Thanks for sharing!

0:42 I literally checked my phone 🤣 Keep up the good work man! Incredible craftsmanship. Where did you find this coil spring, and do you know what steel it is?

I had forgot about my notification going off while filming and was listening to the playback of the finished video before uploading and had got up and walked away from the computer and heard it go off, I thought it was my phone too lol. I appreciate you watching. The set this came from was from an older 1980's Chevrolet and a quick search said that 5160 was used primarily by Chevrolet during that time.

Love this! Is the handle ironwood? Perfect match for the rustic hand-forged blade. Super nice job on the integral bolster.

Are you using a log splitter for a press? Because I’ve considered making one out of one.
@Mysticmountainforge3 ай бұрын
Yep, it's a 27 ton log splitter converted to upright on a stand. I even kept the gas motor and just relocated it to the outside of my shop. I appreciate you watching.
@aprilnichols28063 ай бұрын
@@Mysticmountainforge I think the motor is what gave it away. I’ve got one sounds just like it.
