Still one of the best videos on this channel! I love the focus on presentation in front of a crowd.

I gotta tell ya. I may be from Maine .. but I love the way you explain things. I've watched so many other smiths on the KZbin and a lot of them are really good smiths.. but there's something about your style that makes me comfortable. I like your shop arrangement also. I like how you talk about what to make that sells. I've been doubting myself a lot lately as a smith. maybe it's because the material I've been forging is big enough for a power hammer and too much on my body. I'm not sure. But watching what you make (that sells) using smaller material inspires me to keep forging. just can't afford more material now. eh. anyway... thanks a lot!

Maybe a skill you should learn? There seems to be a demand.

I made a spoon today. It is for my borax so it need not be pretty. It is a good thing too because it is ugliest thing I have made. Considering the only things I have made so far are a coal rake and a spoon that isn't too bad.

You need to learn how to shoe a horse and make your own horshoes and tools, then compete in WCB were the best blacksmiths in the world, the only true blacksmith is good at makeing horse shoes
@Pandemic27010 жыл бұрын
That is not true. A blacksmith is one who uses fire to shape and forge iron and steel. The word you are looking for is farrier.
