I've watched a number or your videos and I must say you have what has to be the cleanest blacksmith/metalworking shop I've ever seen.

A lot of times, us beginner smiths like to think: “Well *i* could do that if *i* had all those fancy tools.” But not this. This is incredible patience, care, skill, and precision that no fancy tool can substitute for!

Hey good day, very nice technique. Angelo Bertolucci would be very proud. Have had some success by hand, you did an excellent job. And very nice inspiration. Thank you for sharing that with us all. Keep up the great work, stay well and have a beautiful day. Jim

Till you have power hammer and punches it's easy but precise work, with only hammer is not so easy. Use a smoothed plier and heat it all, also having a really small hammer for the bends and precise hits.

I'm one of Angelo's grandchildren. This is something that i really didn't want to tell, but he died today. A couple of hours ago. It's almost 15 years (probably more) he didn't work with iron anymore (due to age) and during all these years, out of curiosity, i've always tried to google it's name. Idk, I was curious to see "how famous" was my grandfather, i've always been super proud of his work (even if i never had the chance to learn anything from him, and i'm not an expert) and I was always full of joy everytime i saw someone defining his work "incredible", just like you did. You have no idea how my heart broke when i saw this video. Published no more than 1 year ago. It's a crazy coincidence but I really have to thank you for this "tribute", you really have no idea what does this mean to me. He would have been probably happy too, even if i'm almost sure he would have make fun of you (in a kind way) for using a mechanical hammer in the first part of the video ahah. But you know, it's a man from another century, we can forgive him. Thanks again. Really.

Man... Sad times. I wish more of his work was available for people to see. Roberto Giordani had slides of his other works, hopefully it will transfer to print. One of a kind Master Smith.

Make a rolling stand with a swivel mast and arm to hold the torch. You can leave torch on the arm lit or remove it. Also place a gas saver valve on it. Small plate with holes to hold various torches, rosebud, etc. Also hang striker and tip cleaners. Damn useful. I used a railroad shuttle car wheel for a base with small steel wheels and handle so I can move it around like a handtruck. Instead of mobile rig with bottles the bottles remain secured to wall and rig is mobile to length of hose.

Fantastic! Is this really your first attempt? Lighting the torch from a candle in a wax encrusted chianti bottle was just too much, I almost fell over laughing. So now you need to make wine glasses and display them, the flower and the chianti candle on a red and white checkered table cloth thrown over your swage plate. Buon appetito! By the way, when are you going to continue your experiments in timber chisel/slick production? Definitely in the market...
