What a wonderful and truly capturing introduction! And a teaser and an invitation, haha! I’m really excited to go on this ride and very humbled to be part of the community you are building. What is in my head rarely reaches my hands and yet my head never stops. I have a difficult relationship with creativity, often mistakenly telling myself that I’m not creative as I don’t have much physical evidence to show for it. People that promote crafts and artists can feel quite unreachable to me - like they are “up there” doing what I can’t click into. Following you on tiktok has been a very different experience . You’re incredibly kind but also incredibly personable and honest. It’s satisfying to see you make your vision come to life - I’m happy and excited for you and I don’t feel like you are any different from me. Strangely so, as your work is as physical and out there as it can get! I think for me it is because you so enthusiastically share your mind and what else there is to your works beyond what we could see; creativity as a means to connect. There is clearly so much more to your creativity than just what you put out there in steel and more than you could! It makes me reflect on what creativity means to me. Your content helps think of creativity as less about what makes it into the real world and more about how amazing our minds are and how we can enjoy that together. It blows my mind that that is possible even if I never touch an anvil. So Thank you. It’s been hopeful :)
