In this video, you'll learn what Jesus meant for us to understand when He prayed "Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." We hope this helps explain prayer, how to pray and why prayer is an essential part of having a great relationship with God. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

This was a good lesson thank you Pastor Allen. My boys were killed in 1991, they were hit by an off duty police officers vehicle. They were 6 and 12. It was hard for me to forgive this man, because he refused to take a blood test to proof he wasn’t impaired. Back in 1991, it wasn’t mandatory that he take a blood test. I fought to have that implemented, and today any police officer that is in an accident must take a blood test. I needed to know if he was impaired. I will never know this. This has weighed heavy on me because I truly believe he was impaired, this is why he refused. This has been hard to live with. But through the blood of Jesus, He has forgiven me. I know, I am not worthy, but through His grace I am redeemed. I miss my boys every day. I look forward to seeing them again. ❤️🙏

God bless you, Pastor Nolan. ✝️✝️ My name is in the Book of Life. I accepted Him a long time ago. ✝️✝️✝️ I have enjoyed your teaching. I've had a hard time forgiving in the past. You have helped me understand I must give it all to God. You've helped me so much. I don't want anyone to go to hell either. 😭😭

I have a problem with anger against those that hurt me. I keep praying that God takes this away and for me to leave it in God's hands. It has been really hard for me. This is a great episode for me.

I feel angry at times, too. It makes me angry that because my parents were abusive and neglectful that my health was ruined, and I got started off on the wrong foot. Because of them, I didn't know anything about real life, and I made all sorts of bad decisions simply because I was so naive. They were too busy being drunk and abusive to raise me and my siblings well. To this day, two of my siblings are homeless, I'm still struggling through picking up the pieces of the mess of my upbringing and my poor choices. Children need proper raising, not what I and so many others experienced. This makes me angry, yet I believe I've forgiven them. Why do I say this? I think the anger comes from the fact that I suffer every day, and no matter what I do, my health still causes me pain. It's this daily pain that is difficult to deal with.

Pastor, I will like you to explain how God's declaration in Exodus 34:7, that He visits the inequity of the father on the children to the third and fourth generations, be reconciled with the declaration in Ezekiel 18:20, that the son shall not bear the inequity of the father. Thank you

Pastor Allen is there any possibility of purchasing your notes from this entire series on prayer? I have taken all the notes I am able. But having your direct notes would be so much better from your teaching. I really hope one day we will be able to visit your church we live in Jacksonville Florida and watch the sermons and videos on KZbin almost every day 😊❤

Do you have a book on this? If not I'll need to take notes on the whole series. So many times I don't know what to say when I pray. The words are stuck in my brain, like a traffic jam. I think it's because I'm overwhelmed and can't sort through my thoughts. This series is helpful. I need to get the words I'm hearing on paper.

are there levels in hell? l know there are decent people who take care of family, give to the poor etc. scripture does say everyone will end up in the lake of fire. I'm having a hard time putting the timing of things in order and figuring this particular thing together.

Vicky M. The Bible doesn’t talk about different levels in hell, but it says that no one is righteous, there is no perfect man who have not sinned. (Romans 3:10-12). If some one is doing incredible deeds, still have a record of sins in his or her life that needs to be forgiven, because God is Holy and He punishes sinners with death (hell), but the perfect man, the one who didn’t sin, the just, the lamb of God, our Lord Jesus Christ has payed all in full, that who ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16). It doesn’t matter how good we do but no sin will go unpunished. God bless you!

We get reconcilliation by BELIEVING what Jesus did on the cross was sufficient. Jesus already DIED for our sins. What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. *Salvation is NOT getting your sins forgiven, it's BELIEVING they already are.* (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) We simply believe three things according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4:* 1. How Jesus DIED for or sins (Romans 3:23; 5:8, 5:12, 6:23) 2. Jesus was BURIED (Acts 2:29-31) 3. and Jesus ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians15:44; Acts 1:3) Believe and be saved..or dont and stay lost in unbelief. Your choice. Peace and grace

@@allennolan Thank you for your reply. Please show me in Gods plan of salvation I just shared (1st Co 15:1-4), where Paul included repentance of sins that have already been forgiven. QUESTION: If repenting of sins IS required for salvation, then does that mean EVERYONE Paul preached to is not saved? QUESTION: Have you studied psalm 22? Thats not enough? What more could he have done? Please tell me. Grace and peace.

@@mr.nobodyhere You have posted; *_"Please show me in Gods plan of salvation I just shared (1st Co 15:1-4), where Paul included repentance..."_* Paul is not the savior. Jesus is the savior. Jesus came as the fulfillment of Malachi 3:1 as the messenger of the covenant. Paul is not the messenger of the covenant. Do not allow yourself to put Paul in the place of Christ, nor to accept Paul in the stead of Christ. “In the place of Christ, in the stead of Christ, in the room of Christ” is the exact meaning of the Greek word Antichrist.

@@mr.nobodyhere Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: Luke 24:47 *And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations,* beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

Pastor why not call it Sin. Forgive us our sin as we forgive those who sin against us. I think Trespasses originated out of the Catholic Church. If you Google Trespasses a whole passel of Catholic Methodist/Presbyterian channels come up.
