Hey Pastor this is Cody Allen from Cape Coral, FL. You saved me about 8 months ago. after I had said a prayer to God asking him to create a passion inside of me for His Word (instead of getting tired and wanting to fall asleep every time I'd try). I was just watching a different video. Another man of God. And he describes why the fallen angels would want to go after humans. He explains it this way; "it's just as if there is a Strong man who has an enemy. Instead of going after the strong man they'd rather go after the strong man's children." It reminded me of the story you told in this sermon and others about how the man came in the van to try to abduct your daughter. In his simile God was the strong man and in mine you both are. Weak beings do such an awful thing. All we can do is pray and hope they repent (if they're able). I love you Pastor Allen. You have truly helped change my life.

That's beautiful and thank you for sharing your testimony. After i started seeking Jesus with all of my heart I would sit down to read my Bible and fall asleep every single time. I'm 54 so I was guessing it was because I was getting older. Anyway I started praying and asking God to help me stay awake while I'm reading His word. It was still happening so I reached out to another sister in Christ Jesus and she said it was the enemy. She told me to rebuke it in the name of Jesus and bind it in the name of Jesus. Because what's bound in heaven is bound on earth. I did as she said and I've only gotten super tired maybe once but I was also studying my Bible at 2 a.m. so yeah, I was definitely sleepy. God bless you as you grow a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus.

Pastor Nolan, 15 min into the video you stated that ultimately 'we' decide whether we will obey & follow the path our Lord has directed us onto or fall to the enticements & temptations of our flesh. My dilemma is, as humans we are weak & fall pry to sin often. Even when born again & the ever Holy Spirit of our Lord residing in us, our weakness to do the very things we DO NOT want to do, eventually always wins. To me (imo) that is not having a choice. I'm sure there are millions of addicts who wish they could turn around & walk away from that next hit but they can not, they do not have that choice. I can guarantee you that if I had the strength to exercise that free choice, I would never sin again. I'm guessing there will be those that will claim its all a 'mind over matter' thing & to them I say, good for you to be able to have that control, most of us do not have such control. So, what's up with that?

We live in a fallen world. God is always working in us for those who are His. Be holy like Him. The more you choose His will over your flesh the easier these choices become. As you grow to be more like Him, you will also hate sin more so that the choices become easier. I'm old. It's not that I don't sin, but over time, I have yielded more to Him because of the joy of walking closer with Him. I look forward to putting off the corruptible for the incorruptible.

That's good. Except that: *We do not have a sin nature anymore!* As *born* again creatures in Christ, we are *born of God* by His Spirit, like Jesus! As Jesus said in John 3:3-7: *born from above,* and *born of the Spirit* We have been truly begotten by God. He has given us a new heart and a new spirit. The old man (=our sin nature) has been crucified with Christ. Now, we are no longer sinners, for we have been justified, we are righteous in Christ! ‭2 Corinthians 5:21 TPT says: _"‬For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God through our union with him."_ That's why the Bible says that sin no longer has a hold on us! Which means that when we sin, it's because we choose to sin. This is amazing , but this is the Good News! Blessings from France 🙌💖💥✝️💙🤗

36:38 STOP SAYING THAT'S GOOD TEACHING PASTOR ALLEN!!!!!! It's pompous, it's arrogant, self-serving, PRIDEFUL AND THE OPPOSITE OF HUMBLE! Did Jesus ever say that's good teaching Jesus? Did Paul ever say that's good teaching Paul in his letters? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! And if the Lord and most influential leader of our faith didn't say it.... why are you!?!?! In fact Jesus and Paul said the opposite! In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul demonstrates and expresses his humility when sharing a testimony of what God had done in his life. He emphasizes the importance of not boasting of one's self and achievements, but instead, boasting only in the works of God. Jesus often warned against pride and taught about humility in the Bible. Some say that Jesus is the perfect example of humility, and here are some Bible verses where Jesus discusses humility. “Whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted” (Luke 14:11). Jesus said, "The person who is greatest among you will be your servant. Whoever honors himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be honored" (Matthew 23:11-12). Stop honoring YOURSELF. Stop exalting YOURSELF. You say "that's good teaching pastor Allen" at least once in every sermon. Glorify God, not yourself. Please do better pastor Allen 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Not that this particular pastor needs someone running point for him, but get over yourself. Pointing to something that's actually relevant as in others should take note of in saying " that's good teaching pastor Allen" isn't glorifying one's self; but rather instead, emphasizing its note worthy and shouldn't be filed away as a casual point. It's no different than you (if you were a parent) and saying to your children '..look, listen and learn from what I'm telling you...' For years on end we've all heard "won't you help me", "don't shout me down", "this is good teaching/preaching" etc. coming from preacher/teachers and Evangelists, and when (or if) they need humbling God will do it.

@@anonymousmeme8458 you must be new to pastor Allen's sermons. When he makes a noteworthy point he says "write this down". And he does that frequently in every sermon. Specifically says , "if you're taking notes write this down". Congratulating himself about his good preaching is self-serving and self-righteous. He's not saying "can I get an amen"? Or "help me out now" Or "can I get a witness" Or "can I get a hallelujah" All of those examples involve people other than himself. He's talking about how great his preaching is. Patting himself on the back. I'm sorry you can't tell the difference. The holy Spirit told me I need to let pastor Allen know he comes across as arrogant when he says that. I'm judging with righteous judgment as the Bible commands 🙏 I'm sorry you haven't learned God does not always humble those that need to be humbled. Hence Benny Hinn still has a ministry scamming people. Wow I feel so much better now. I think I'm over myself lol 😁 Thank you ✌️

@@ChrisSmith-tl4qf @ChrisSmith-tl4qf : With no offense taken nor implied here's my rebuttal: Actually I've been watching this channel for about three years now and carefully weigh its content every episode. Secondly, pastor Allen, needs no one to carry his water (as in defending him as it were). Notwithstanding, my concern is more focused in what you've written..."The Holy Spirit told you you need to let pastor Allen know...". I' won't suggest God doesn't on occasion send us to others as to inform, confirm, consult, console, warn or correct but what I've seen from this ministry I haven't been compelled to do any of the afore mentioned. With that being said, did the Holy Spirit inform you He's been on Allen about glorifying himself and Allen is simply not submitting to correction? Have you questioned Allen specifically about this yourself, and did the Holy Spirit audibly say that to you? Personally, I seriously doubt the Holy Spirit would bring you in on something like this, unless there were no other way God could reach Allen, and or he was about crash and burn and take many with him. Just sayin' (* see Jim & Tammy Baker, Jimmy Swagger, Jesse Jackson, naming a few.) As far as "God does not always humble those who need to be humbled. Hence Benny Hinn..."statement: As a rebuttal I first submit God will not be mocked. And being in Christ for 44+ years myself, I have never found it true God not correcting his children when necessary; first on a personal level, and if we're not responsive still... in a public arena. (*see James Robison [his testimony of a Spirit of pride/& lust] ) Notwithstanding and for this reason, I question is your maturity in Christ and if there's actually a Spirit of pride and or judgemental spirit afoot here, and if not whether there's a telephone pole in one's eye regarding your post. My point: Who are we, as in you or I (or anyone for that matter) to judge another man's (God's) servant in Benny Hinn, specifically him scamming people; that's rather a railing accusation wouldn't you say? Where is your conclusive proof in this accusation, is it your opinion or IS THERE IRREFUTABLE CONCRETE PROOF and if so what is it? I'll be objective and wait. Lastly, I'm glad your feeling better now, but did that come at the expense of someone else? If it did, to me it's proof that didn't come the Holy Spirit but (again) a spirit of pride, judgement or immaturity. With all due respect I close with this: Perhaps checking that "I'm over myself" statement might need a little closer look. 😉
