I’ve learned to forgive people even when they do wrong to me, or when they become upset/mad towards me. I always put aside the drama etc and tell myself “I don’t know what they’re dealing within themselves but there’s telling what a person is going through so I will cut them slack and talk to God about it and move on.”. It’s not easy to forgive, it’s not a feeling, it’s a choice. When I make the choice to forgive others and even myself it’s not a bandaid. It’s a choice and I work on it myself every time it comes up on my mind I say “it’s all good in the neighborhood God knows what’s up.”.

How many people have recited the Father's Prayer? Inside that prayer, it says please Forgive us our trespasses. As we Forgive those who trespass against us. I learned this as a child. Today the Holy Spirit reminded me that those words are in, "Our Father's Prayer." These phrases are more than just words. They are our Father's words.

This is so timely, I have to share this...my church recently went through a shaking due to a revelation of our senior pastor who has resigned. Mrs. Meyer was scheduled to come and speak this summer and not sure if you are still coming since most of the other guest preachers have backed out, but I remember as soon as that news broke, a lot was said to us, yet one thing I never heard spoken to us was 'FORGIVENESS', and I remember thinking perhaps Joyce will speak on it if she comes and here we are today listening to this message. Again so very timely because Forgiveness and Reconciliation is really the symbol of the Cross of Christ, the church needs to hear this message.

I’m struggling with this as my employer told me they didn’t need nursing care and let me go without 2 wks notice. I’ve since found that they hired another nurse. Not only did they lie to me, they have hurt my feelings because I feel like they just didn’t like me. I could have understood if they had just been honest. No I wasn’t fired but told an untruth about the company not needing nursing hours when they clearly did.

I struggled for decades with forgiveness. Not because I didn't want to forgive, but because I didn't know how. Every time I tried, I would find the unforginess would return (or it never left). Then one day, I realised that everyone else was just as dumb and flawed as me, and we're all just doing the very best we can. How can I hold anything against them? They really didn't know how else to be. I chose, right at the onset, not to hold anything against them and that is how I succeeded to forgive. Compassion for others provided the insight. This position has worked very well for me ever since. I love all your talks, Joyce, and I can't thank you enough for sharing your life and the things you've learnt along the way. I'm so glad you had the strength and courage to answer God's call all those years ago. You have helped so many people with you minstry, including me. ❤

Trust me, let it go. I pondered and stressed myself out for over a year since leaving a toxic work place and ended up with afib and I believe it was brought on from the stress of not forgiving. After that, I messaged people who hurt me and forgave them. I turned my life back to God and it was the best thing I could’ve done. I love this! When I consider my own trespasses,I understand why I did it,and what I was going through to compulsively act out like that. I have compassion for myself,which allows me to receive God’s forgiveness. Then He reminds me to consider what the other person may have been experiencing that would cause them to act out,also. When I understand that everyone does what they do(usually compulsively,not meaning to)in order to try to meet a need,it makes it easier to forgive.🙏

I am sorry to hear of this situation you may be in. Whatever, you're doing at this point, is not working for you. Now you need to ask your Father in heaven to help you. That's what he's there for, to help you get through what's going on. You can't do it, but He can. You only need to pray, by yourself. Not once but continually. Thank Him in each prayer for hearing you and for the help He will give you. I've been in some terrible situations and pain. He helped me. Life is so very different now. My relationship with Our Father is so important.

To Christians forgiveness is not a choice, it's a command because if we do not forgiveness others, our Father in heaven will not forgive us. Matt 6:14-15 says, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Unforgiveness is actually a burden that never stops growing and it is the cause for may people's sicknesses in this world. To be someone is accepts to forgive others, is to be someone who is wise and has accepted is live a peaceful life on earth.

the hardest person for me to forgive is myself. I carry a lot of weight in shame, unforgiveness and anger at myself but not at anyone else. it's prideful and I know I am as important to forgive as others. this has been in my prayers very heavily and I hope that I am able to let go.

I been with You for 2.5y and God answer a lot of my prayers/concerns situations etc thru Joyce teaching Thank you Jesus I have a little concern that’s bothering me. I have electrical comp and 2 of my guys that I helped with work/money/problem Iam not bragging just trying to explain the situation as much as possible So they called one of the comp that I work for and with and they asked to work for them This company is going thru some changes and been a little slow this year (last year we did a full year of work for them give or take) So Iam looking 👀 inside my hart if I am mad no upset yes and I would forget about it after I pray to the Lord and gave the situation to him but it’s still coming out and I want to call the owner and tell him that you know you are using the guys that worked for you last year and these are my guys, I have only one rule in my company that I don’t take your guys and you don’t take my guys and I always stated before I signed the contract. I don’t have this written but I always express it and say it that I’m not taking your guys and you are not taking my guys so I don’t know what should I do forgive them or I should call and notify the owner. Yeah, the owner has a lot of stuff going on. He could’ve forgot, but she has first and last name of all the guys and they could of seen that they came from my company I am not upset at the owner Iam more upset with my guys going behind my back and taking work from me. So basically this is it Hopefully someone from Jocey team helps me out or if anyone reading been in this situation any experience would be precious. 😊 Thank you and GODS Blessings

We can forgive everyone because for me we are all victims of satan's agenda. My only problem right now is conviction from those people I forgive. Convictions are happening in my life everyday. Minimum of 10 times a day. Sometimes they are convicting me by words but most of the time they do convicts me on how they act. It really hurts me inside. I did forgave them even though they don't ask for it. Sometimes I'm asking myself are they perfect? Is it hard to ask for forgiveness the way I did? Deep inside I'm crying without them knowing what I felt. I don't tell someone because I don't have someone to tell my problems. Only God, im asking him to not let go of me, to stay with me, to help me in my problems. I can't do it without him. I'm crying right now. Im giving my life to Him. Right now God is all I have. Pls keep on helping me crawl. I love you Jesus.

I have a question. Does forgiving also mean you should trust the person again? We have a family member who for the last couple of years has NUMEROUS times lashed out at us. Each time we have forgiven and began trusting her again. Recently she not only lashed out at us (my husband and I) but also our daughter who is disabled. She was just about to get physical this time around. It got so bad we had to call the police. We are saying the words that we forgive her even though we are not feeling it in our hearts (but we know God is working on our hearts). Problem is, we don’t feel that we can trust her even with forgiving her…especially around our daughter who cannot defend herself physically.

It's not like they don't deserve it. I feel someone I love still could be alive if a certain person would take her to the hospital, doctor, and gave her better care. I deep down believe she still could be here , alive....and I have so many questions how was she feeling for the last few days, what help was she getting, what exactly was happening, were they drugging her, nit dragging her, was she suffering,...I know it was not done everything in their power what was best for loved one to save her life.....I'm praying I can forgive ....to this person, she was not honest with me, I just know it....😢

Forgiving someone takes God’s help, my husband abuse me shouts on me everyday and sleeping around with different women and he course so much pain in my heart.
