13:39 If you're wondering about the animals in the temple, they're not sacrificed. It's implied that they're used for...pleasure. Hence the place of great sin.

Also some of those pagan temples sacrificed people. As mentioned in stories from Kings & Chronicles there were sacrifices of children to Baal and Moloch.

Orthodox jewish males wear that leather arm strap with the prayer box at the top, as well as one on their head, the box resting at the top center of their foreheads... I think it's similar to their prayer tassels on the 4 corners of their garments, as well as the prayer boxes at eye level on the right side of every entry/exit to a home or space, which they touch n kiss their hand. God, thru Moses, commanded they be constantly surrounded by God's word at all times, so they never forget or slack off of God's law of Moses.... not sure if they wear the prayer boxes on their left arm n forehead ar all times, or times of prayer/synagogue or what. But if you watch footage of men at the western/wailing wall, daily, closely, you will see these talismans, especially the ones on their heads! I always wondered what they were, like maybe a cushion for their foreheads when they're pressed against the wall or ground for so long to pray lolol... this show has been so incredibly informative about jewish customs n ways n it's awesome!
