People who I have let in and have hurt me are the hardest to forgive. There are times where I think I'm good and I'm over it because I told myself that I forgive them. It could be days, weeks, or months later and that bitterness & resentment creeps right back in. I hate feeling this way. I am grateful that I can come on KZbin to listen to another forgiveness sermon by Joyce Meyer to straighten myself out again.

Going through the painful process of forgiving abusive parents myself. If not for this teaching I would be lost. It's taking many, many of Joyce's teachings on forgiveness to get me to a place where I can actually, truly forgive. I ask God to take away bitterness and resentment, to make my spirit beautiful again. I have no expectations of an apology or anything else. As she said they cannot pay us back. The legacy Joyce will leave is the most important one we will ever need. As i was listening to this message, i left halfway to confront the person i couldn't forgive even though they had apologized. The Holy Spirit gave me a revelation and I now understand why the person did what she did and why she behaves the way she behaves. I am now watching the remaining of this video with a clean heart and have fully forgiven. Thank You So Much.

Great teaching. I have hard times to let go of the people, who made me hurt and vulnerable. I wanna let go of that past trauma in order to trust again the people and communicate with them, so I keep researching about it and could say your videos help me to understand what is a true forgiveness, the power of forgiveness, I feel God's hand, while watching your videos. Someone hurt me some time ago. I forgave her, still love her and still have a good relationship with her. But I feel I cannot get rid of the hurt! When I think back of what she did to me I still want to cry. Does it mean I did not really forgive her?

I do forgive my Dad as I know even though he was mean to me beat me up called me a retard he did take good care of me for almost 32 years ! When he died not only did I get my usual SSD check I got a SSI check that I get that Dad took out of his socail secuirty and it goes up every year and am on Medcaid Icare but one day Ill be off that and on a different Medcare plans as Medcaid Icare you cant have a certin amount to have it ! Im 500 or so over the limit anyway dont know how many more years Ill be keeping Medcaid and Icare ! I pay 799 per month for rent so half my 1,525 I get goes for bills like rent the 799 is the rent my cell phone bill light bill doctor bills get 420 to 400 to live on for month from my payee ! I must have some of the stimulas left !

I say this out of love and concern, but I don't agree that you should forgive someone JUST to relieve yourself from that unforgiveness...I believe we should forgive because even when we were sinners Christ died for us and when we accepted him as our savior he forgave us 🙏🏼🙌 so I believe we should forgive because we have been forgiven even when we didn't deserve it ❤
