I wouldn't chop it, it looks great like it is, those cars are like tanks built solid, they made the seats like living room furniture, huge, it would look cool to see a double blower on it, but that would mess up the hood, I would probably try to find a large piece of land & put a steel building on it to store all my cars, all the cars you have are really priceless 1 is you have taken them from useless to running & they are not making them anymore! But ultimately its your decision! 👍

Absolutely with the air ride dropped it gives a custom chop affect even if it’s not there I say leave it be body wise and go full spycho sleeper cruiser lsx or tunnel ram and big 6 speed auto trans power windows and ac make it crazy nice to drive and crazy fun

For the air ride solenoid. ask for a "continuous duty". It's like you would use for an electric winch. The Ford solenoids or only good for momentary starter applications.

I considered a lift. So I could stack cars in the 2 car garage. It looks like KZbin celebrities are being offered great deals on them. I don't think a regular person could get a good deal, though. Also, even my lowest car , or a convertible with the top down would stack and clear he bottom of the ceiling trusses. I could cut a couple and hope the roof holds... The cheaper lifts don't offer adjustable lift heights. You have to choose fixed locations about 6 inches apart which makes squeezing in two low height cars a lot harder.

Speaking as a man who never wants to get rid of anything. I still have my 73 F100 I bought in 1984. I really think you should consider advancing the 47 to an up-and-coming hot-rodder who would love to get his mitts on a running driving vintage automobile. Then devote that time and money to possibly getting the model A further along. Anyway keep doing what you're doing I enjoy the crap out of your content.

I'm not a fan of bagging, lowering or raising vintage cars. At least with bagging, you can push a button and raise the car and drive it. But I have never in my life seen a car that looks good with the roof chopped. Maybe in my child life, but not in my adult life. The fact that you said almost all chopped cars don't look good shows you are getting wise.

If you can "lay frame", or whatever it is called, you can avoid the problem of not having a rear axle parking brake (on a stock car, not this one) and the car rolling away because the transmission mounted brake is too weak. So there is that.😁

Dan, the problem I had with cobras is they have little space for your feet. And the space there is is way, way over to the left. Your right foot has to go where it expects the brake to be to push the accelerator. Is the Sebring any better? My brother and I got the sales pack for the Sebring MX way back in the late 80's and I've been curious ever since.
