Those 7th gen Suburbans were built from 1973 - 1991. Same with the 2nd gen K5 Blazers & Jimmys & 3rd gen C/K series pickups, except 1987 was the last year for the regular cab pickups "1/2 tons & 3/4 tons only", & 1989 for the 1 ton regular cab pickups.

Why the hell do you want to remove the radiator, leave the damn thing there, leave the truck as is, do a good tune-up, clean the paint and that's it.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I’m sure you can find 454’s but these suburbans are far and few between nowadays

Factory repaint! Good video bro! I have a ‘87 Scottsdale way worse shape but 84k original miles. Runs awesome but totally rusted out. I’m gonna try and save it still!

I got a question when you get your truck all fixed up would you still use ither truck because I want to do that to my 2008 Silverado Crew cab LTZ Dark metallic blue it needs bedsize and inner wheel Wells and probably fenders And probably the doors if I don't care if Them the paint Bubbling a little bit bubbling
@crankemtv3907 Жыл бұрын
If you’re asking if I’ll still use the suburban, that truck got parted out, so no
@LPWSzzz2 жыл бұрын
That rust ain’t shit, these suburbans are kinda rare up where I live, you could get a decent about for that truck even with the rust
@crankemtv39072 жыл бұрын
They’re not too easy to find by me either but in the shape this one was in and the fact that it’s 2wd make it not worth a lot, even with the prices of vehicles today. The only thing it has going for it is the big block. I’m all for saving classics but there’s plenty of nicer Suburbans out there than this one

@@crankemtv3907 someone will want it, all these guys wanting 25k for any diesel means these old big blocks will find someone who needs a tow pig

@@crankemtv3907 & I hate to say but gas is gonna continue to go up too which sux bigtime. I remember back in the 1990s it was 99 cents a gallons. The good o days.

It aint a parts truck tf? just needs some tlc and its good to go
@crankemtv39072 жыл бұрын
I know from the video it may seem that way, but I didn’t show all the rot it had. The rot plus being a 2WD make it not worth a whole bunch, it’s sucks seeing a classic get parted out but the parts are going into other trucks to keep them on the road

People like these videos cause usually people are saving these pieces of history. You guys see that truck as junk. Go work on Hondas. Leave the American steel alone. #notworthypunk. Also you didn't even get your fingers dirty. Everyone else worked on it. 4 years sitting? That thing could sit 30 years and would be the same video.
@crankemtv39072 жыл бұрын
Not every vehicle can be saved, I don’t see the truck as junk, I see it as a vehicle that can keep others on the road through parts. And your point is? I don’t think my friends needed help charging a battery and checking the oil lol
@MackesTV2 жыл бұрын
Fuck you. Thing was shot I cut the thing apart and you can watch it on my channel and cry about. Bitch
@jasonallesch63322 жыл бұрын
First, it Prolly wouldn’t be the same video with 30 year old gas compared to 4 year old gas, just saying. Second, how much intelligence and effort does it take to check oil and a battery. Like duh you’re not gonna get your hands dirty with that. He didn’t do a motor swap in it dumbass.
