I've used removed governor when grinding from stock engines just keep in mind to turn it off when you reach your ideal position. With fast paced battles its ideal to get in position as quick as possible to get xp. Day 67 for ferarri build of E25 with the Super Duper Hyper Turbocharger with tiny touch Grousers or Rotation Mechanism.

Nice to see some diversity in terms of equipement/consumables! With equip' 2.0, it would be silly not to try different set up. I actually think there is builds as good as good ol' "rammer/vents/stabs" when you pick the right tank to experiment!

I use the 100 octane gasoline only with my bat chat 12t because it makes flanking and circling enemies while shooting them up close easier, but it's not very competitive, just cheap fun. I've only used removed speed governor in A-43 aka Russian Cromwell and A-44, both of which skill hasn't made a single video about (until recently) Edit: also in a BT-2 back when you could fit it with a spall liner and other equipment to make a ramming beast.

Hey Skiiiill! Good video. For me i use improved fuel on some tanks because i am a cheap tanker 😄 I find it useful and less expensive than food. I use food mainly for important battles (skirmish advances and clan wars). I can manage without food on randoms.

Kinda weird, only just noticed these consumables the other day. Found that they work very well with 257/T-10 with a turbo, makes them like more like heaviums - especially with off road driving. Probably be even more powerful with the bond turbo.

Cheap free to play user here, I started using gasoline in my Tier V Wolverine, and it in fact made a huge diference, it's the only tank I ever had near 100% of MOE. It works as a sort a cheap food substitute if your tank isn't very flammable, quite useful for some sluggish tanks.

Very useful for playing on a budget with certain tanks, I will give it a shot! This makes me curious about what tanks statistically have the least crew members dying over, say 10k battles in each tank. For the lowest ones, I am curious to see how replacing the medkit with another consumable would transform a tank if you could have extra rations + something else... I mean, it would be an expensive bill gates build (skill gates haha), but I have a feeling it might make some painful, slow tanks more enjoyable, but who knows if it is even reasonable!

Well Fire extinguisher only disapears when used, for the oil you get charged every battle, so for free to play player you lose 5000+

Yeah, removed speed governor is better than Oil as it only gets used when it damages the engine I believe? Anyways, using it on KV-5 and KV-4 Kres. and I don't remember it ever being used up or even damaging the engine. Sadly it is only available on russian tanks.

Removed Speed Governor is basically 0 credits per battle, because it never gets used - you need one and you're good for all your future battles - it works like equipment.

This could really help newer players and I am intrigued to see what format you used to creat your reticle. Remember the removed speed governor is not a consumable, it's just like an equipment, you equip it once and it never needs to be replaced.

Funny thing about the russian tanks "removed speed governor" consumable is testing it out on the higher tier light tanks. The T-54 lwt with this on will have a hard time not oversteering from the extra horsepowers. I swear you will turn the russian light tanks into gokart, they will spin.

Doesn't the fire extinguisher give you a passive boost by reducing the chance of fire by 10%? Same with the medkit (less chance of crew damage). Food gives you 10% passive boost and on console at least, you get an additional 15% whilst active.

Sometimes you drown by accident. There should be a limit of drownings or "died in battle" (killed himself with splash) per day, then ban. That should be enough.

Listen, WG even made a video showing how 'hilarious' drowning was. They showed the statistics of how many players drown per year with arty. Of course, they NEVER punish a single player for it, which is utterly stupid but hey, they don't care about it, as well as they don't care about thousands of players not playing the game anymore. A 24h ban would stop drowners forever. First time a warning, second time apply the ban, easy as that. Ed: They will never punish anyone for it, the players provide money to them, that's why if I'm playing with arty and I see WG staff in a battle I focus on them the entirety of the battle so they fix this damn class.

A follow-up on fires. What tanks are known to catch on fire and should carry a FE? Will using the Fire Fighting directive be as good as carrying a FE? Seems like every time I drop the FE, I catch on fire so am reluctant to do so. Thanks.

I use remove speed govs. on lt432 and t54fp. I dont have it on all the time and I cant remember the last time my engine broke on lt432 but it does on the t54. tip if you are going to use it get a large repair kit just in case.

P44 with 105 oktan if I play for fun and have some credits spared I use it think its pretty significant it increases your ramming chance/-damage and helps for repositioning or getting firstspot/-hit positions your accelleration outclasses even some lightanks with this I use the governor thing for my russian t 6 meds meds and the 122 tm chinamed its pretty good I think even op because it was created for the time where you had only one repair kit but was not reworked after the change it costs much less than oktan but if used right its as good as it I think

I would actually run double repair kit on this type of tank but gasoline is also pretty good thing to have.

You cannot fit a double repair kit anymore. I tried it on my T95 US TD. All that happens is that the game client keeps moving the first repair kit fitted to the slot where I want to mount the 2nd repair kit. So I end up shifting the repair kit to another slot instead of mounting a double repair kit. I decided to use a large repair kit instead. Will try hardening equipment later for better repair speed and tracks durability.

Usually it's worth it to go for the automatic fire extinguisher, even when F2P. Daily missions etc will give you a lot of those and it's really rare to be set on fire, but when you get lit, there's a chance it'll save your ass.

Because the extinguisher is relevant for a few seconds every 20-50 games, while food makes your tank 10% better every moment of every game.

I'm sorry skill but I feel sympathy for that 279e. He is just playing with a strategy that requires more participation from his teammates. Even if one more tank goes help him he won't be flanked so hard by those tanks behind. You see how he has quite a decent win rate and I believe he has every right to be frustrated. There is no wrong strategy, just those that are safe and easily executed by one person, and those that are risky and require cooperation with more teammates (which unfortunately is hard in random battles in WOT but is not completely impossible as well).

Mandatory consumeables are medic kit. 3k. Repair kit. 3k and a fire extinguisher. 3k, in that order. The ones costing 20k credits are a waste unless you are king baboon that owns every tank in the game. Whenever i get lit on fire and if im fast enough i burn for 100 dmg or less. You still lose 20~ hpish with the automatic one. The rations are meh, how many times are they actually useful, when you're shooting, get back into cover and shoot again. Seems wasteful to me. I still have over 20 tanks to buy in tier 9 and 10, 3.5m and 6m each. If i would use the expensive consumables it would take even longer to get those.
