The T110E4 Master Class in World of Tanks

What I hate the most about T110E4 that it has 6 degrees of gun depression. It is a joke - the whole line basically teaches players to use hull down positions with 10 degrees, then they jump to the X tier and game says to them "forget every position you've been using".

Then learn to play it, lines are not played in the same positions, it's a line not an upgrade of the previous tank.

@@MakMak02 you don't understand. In this case it is downgrade of the feature which is in the line starting at 7 tier. Wargaming had removed in past tanks which weren't similar to the rest of the line, for example FV215 183 was replaced with Badger for that reason. E4 with 10 degrees of gun depression wouldn't be OP, as it still had giant weakspot and cheeks which are penetrable with high pen.

The comparison between the 60TP and this tank has one more decisive difference. One is a Heavy, the other is a TD. This factor often is overlooked because it is so obvious, but it means the enemy team will likely get one additional TD/Heavy as well. It is kind of a niche application, but I always find playing TD's a good way for a higher winrate with lower effort, because a TD on the enemy team is more likely to camp and not participate in the game than an enemy heavy, meaning if I play active I will have even more impact on the outcome since I can effectively make a numerical advantage at the frontline.

It applies even if you are driving a glasscannon, it requires more caution, but point is that playing any TD actively is prone to make a numerical advantage for your team, because most TD players are looking for positions that can punish enemy offensive maneuvers, failing to recognize that that would require their own team to lose a position and likely tanks in the first place. Average TD players frequently wait for their frontline to die until they are even making their first hit. They don't actively want that to happen, but they fail to realize that it is the natural consequence of their positioning. So by playing any TD you will get a high chance for the matchmaking to put such a player in the enemy team.

Its funny, I actually just got my Ace in mine TODAY. I'm extremely casual player but 1st battle out had 8 kills, 5700 damage, 3k blocked. Ended with 9k 1st battle exp and earned over 125k credits. I left it in the garage the rest of the day, didn't want to spoil the feeling.

My favorite way to play E4 or its predecessor, t30, is to pick a heavy and follow just behind him, using him as hull cover.

That second game was an epic throw by the enemy team. They had you guys surrounded and should've EASILY won the match, but they failed to commit to a complete push.

Good luck with the T30. It's not that bad, just don't rely on the armor. Do NOT use the 120mm if you don't want to spam gold. The main advantage of the T30 is the alpha so why not use it?

Used to love my 110E4. Recently I just feel that the niche it filled is just better done by the heavies, so you end up being a weird hybrid that is just large and lumbering. Power creep is most definitely real.

I'd rather be in a T30 than a T110E4 in a tier 10 match; the T30, while less hp and not the best stats, at least the weakspots on the turret aren't the size of Mount Everest, while the E4 has an easily snipeable machinegun; I've had more trouble fighting a T30 than a T110E4

To make this content it would require a shitton of footage. Since a quality masterclass map guide wouldnt be done with tank types but rather vehicle roles. As a unicum myself it would probably take me ages to review one map with one vehicle role each existent. Theres probably around 20 different roles. And qb isnt known to make the highest quality content or editing but rather an average, expected amount of timespent on a video. But sure, the idea is good

I haven't watched this yet, but literally just this morning I put aside my new E4 to go back to the T30. I loved playing that tank quite a bit and this E4 has just been disappointing all around. I grinded so much for that tank, spent so much on it, and it's been a big let down. For me at least. Maybe after watching this I'll move my crew back over and keep trying, but I should have just listened to all the advice I saw on Reddit threads and such on avoiding purchasing.

@@creativehorse7907 I haven't played the Xbox version in a LONG time. Are there still way less tanks on that platform? Maybe that's why. Less power creep to worry about. Plus it's harder to hit the weak spots I would assume, which is very easy on PC to zoom in and nail on the turret.

I felt that same way “upgrading” from the Tortoise to the Badger. The armor really doesn’t hold up against other tier X’s especially if they feel like firing gold. And then the DPM pretty much doesn’t matter. Not like an enemy tank is gonna be alone, at a good angle to be damaged and permatracked so you can actually benefit from the DPM.

In my T110E4 I ran an IS-4 off from his hull down position with 4 rounds of regular HE. 300 to 350 dmg rolls were adding up and he bailed. The versatility of the T110E4 = fav tier 10 tank.

Where Grille is the sniper, and the E3 the assault tank, the E4 is inbetween these 2. its more a support tank on the 2nd line that can be used to push when you got the opportunity. That cuppola is the downfall of this tank.

Nice. Personally, I like rotation, turbo, and aiming device. It sucks having the lower DPM, but it makes it significantly easier to handle the gun and sink those 750hp rounds.

For me realy if I want to play big alpha turreted TD I will always play with tier IX T30 instead of this tank. Just to compare t9 TD to t10 TD. T30 has 360° of turret traverse instead of 180°, T30 has 10° of gun depresion, E4 has 6°, T30 has better turret armour, doesn't have a huge weak point on top and T30 has about 280mm of turret armour rather than 250mm, pen is worse it doesn't have full t10 ammo but I would rather play with T30.

T110E4 my first tier X. It's a good tank because most of the soviet tank already get ammo rack by me especially the IS7. What I don't like about this T110E4 is the turret only turn on 180 degree.

This might make some difference vs T8, but T9-10 guns with premium ammo will pen your T30's mantlet, or 120+ mm caliber guns will overmatch your roof, if they can see it.

There's something I don't really understand, at 5:00 you are saying that both loaders need to use intuition, but in the explanation you can see that the average skill level between the loaders is taken into account. So what is the benefit of having it on both loaders ? Or am I missing something ?
