When you find out the thrusts are gone in the engine, make sure you order a quality billet converter for it before you put it back together. The converters like to ballon and take out the crank on those. Other than that and some emissions stuff, those engines are bulletproof.

Ah dang, I was hoping for a K-swap. Maybe some day. I bet a K-swap video will blow up on the internet, pissing off a lot of people. "Horsepower is for speed, torque is what gets stuff done." *Wheel* torque is what gets stuff done.
@coliimusic6 ай бұрын
A 2J might be fun for one of those, more displacement for a bigger vehicle, 6 cylinder to 6 cylinder
@gutserker6 ай бұрын
@@coliimusic do I think that a 2J would be a better comparable engine swap? Absolutely. Larger displacement, more cylinders, more consistent torque at low RPM. But a k swap I think is a perfect experiment for the argument of small displacement, high RPM, low torque engines can't do the job. Also k24 are much cheaper than a 2J for experiments
@Harry_Gersack6 ай бұрын
You could also put a 50cc two stroke in it if the gearing is low enough. Exactly the same principle. What's the point though? Sure it pisses a lot of people off, so he gets views. But that's a one time thing, after that he can't race it and it's impractical for towing. (Unless he puts a 30-speed transmission in it, but it would still burn tons of gas while towing)
@gutserker6 ай бұрын
@@Harry_Gersack if it's not something worth getting viewers, then might as well just go diesel. I'm sure a 2J would get good looks, I just don't think as many. Look up "8 turbo V8". Same idea. It even got an article in jalopnik
