It is so sweet to hear your grandchildren speak your granma name. I keep my almost 3-year-old grandson one day a week. When he leaves he says "bye GranMary" in the most precious voice. I love it. My granddaughter changed my husband's name from Granddad to Grandy. She said it was because he was "sweet like candy". I wish they didn't grow up so quickly, even though it is fun to see the activities they choose to do.

Good morning my dear friend, we got a ton of snow yesterday and through the night, right now it’s a beautiful sunny morning but cold. Today marks the 26th anniversary of the heartbreaking loss of my beloved and affectionate son, Michael, who tragically passed away at the tender age of 19 due to heart failure. Even though a significant amount of time has elapsed, there are instances where the pain feels as intense as if it took place recently. I cannot express the countless tears I have shed. That day brought about immense changes and a sense of normalcy has never returned. The presence of an enduring emptiness remains. Your video has successfully diverted my thoughts, and hearing you discuss your amazing son has brought joy to my day. I am grateful for that. I can sense the affection you hold for your children and grandchildren when you talk about them, and it brings warmth to my heart. You have become a cherished friend. I wish you and Mike a fantastic remainder of the day and eagerly anticipate seeing you in our next video. May the blessings of God be upon you and your amazing family forever. Good morning, Gayle. Love these pockets with all your pretty papers. My favorites were the longer ones, A variation along the same lines as this that I have done (not my idea, I saw it on you tube but I don't remember who's video it was) is to take one of those utensil bags, folded in half, and do your paperclip and place on the bottom of the page. It gives you a double pocket each side. One pocket inside the bag and it holds another tag (each side) behind nicely. It would probably work with your pretty papers also. They were fun to do. We, of course, don't get much snow ever but last few weeks off and on lots of rain. A few chilly days (well chilly for us anyway, highs in the 50'sand 60's but last few days in the 70's but rain again tomorrow and cold for the weekend (highs in the 40's) but it only last a couple days, Hope ya'll don't get to much snow so ya'll can go to Katie's game. Hi and Hugs from Kansas. Hidden paper clips are some of my favorite things to make! Especially with my scraps! That paper is absolutely beautiful. Hope you and hubby don’t get too much snow! My granddaughter is a meteorologist. And you might know, we are expecting snow and I have to go have an ultrasound tomorrow as a follow up to a procedure I had done today. I just bought a book weight and I thought it was on your favorites-but a pretty red one enticed my eyes and I must have wandered off. Anyway, it doesn’t have enough weight to hold a feather😢, even though it’s pretty. I guess I could glue some lead weights, but no. So being shopping enabled, doesn’t always mean shopping-able. 😅. . Gayle, this is just an idea you might want to try. I have a mat like you have and I use art glitter glue when I get it on my mat, I use windex to clean my mat and it works wonderfully.

I think you could stencil or stamp on the white side of the pockets or even use cheesecloth to give them some interest. Personally I love the longer ones. I couldn’t understand what you said about where you got the crafters companion papers. Could you print the website name so I can see it, please. Thanks and hugs to you, my friend.

HI! What do you mean by non directionl when you speak of the Crafter's Companion paper pad?

Directional paper has a pattern that would be obviously upside down if folded up, like writing or a scene with people or birds. Non directional is an all over pattern that looks good right side up or upside down. Hope that helps! ❤

You glued it shut. How will it clip on & go over the page?

Actually it’s not shut. The folded paper leave a space between the fold. The paper clip is glued on the Outside. The fold slides over your page. Hope that helps! ❤

The Kraft paper folded slips over the page. The paper clip is just “hidden” under the patterned paper. Hope that helps! ❤

Gayle, you mentioned that at our age you have to make every moment count with your kids and grand kids.Well in my case it has been reversed. I'm 77 yrs old and I lost both of my daughters last year, my oldest (age 52) in June and then my youngest (age 47) on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. They were both pretty sick and both were on dialysis. You know what they say, you're not suppose to bury your kids, it is suppose to be the other way around. They are in a much better place and they have both been healed so I wouldn't bring them back for anything. But oh how I do miss them. My youngest left behind a husband of 25 years and two kids, a girl (age 12) and a boy (age 14). I have good days and then a bad one, but the Lord is truly helping me. So what you say about making every moment count really is true.
