Thanks for adding all the history with the large cent. Metal detecting is all about the history! That little hinge was pretty and old, maybe someone’s grandparents. Silvers are always welcome. Well, having finally gotten to swing a machine, I didn’t care what was down there, if it just made a sound! What a newbie!! 😅😊

Thanks, what detector are you using? You have to dig most signals to help you learn the machine. We still dig lots of trash, it just goes with detecting.

Thanks for watching, the first site was to overgrown to swing. We actually found another cellar hole maybe 100 feet away, it was barely visible with all the growth. We usually wait until fall and winter to detect the woods.

Scoring the silvers and large cents.. Man you all are lucky to be on good grounds to keep finding the goodies. I know it is a lot of work to find places that produce the relics and good old silver. Happy Hunting. Peace
