Here's a forgotten gem from the 80s: Dolls (1987), it's a horror film about a bunch of dolls that come to life and kill people who are wrong-doers, it was made by the same people who did Re-Animator and From Beyond but this film is VERY unlike those films, it manages to be creepy and gory but have a kinda wholesomeness to it in a dark twisted way

Perhaps not a deep sleeper on this side of the Atlantic, but 'The Company of Wolves' absolutely holds up....the blending of a seemingly relatively innocent fantasy Red Riding Hood allegory with then profound elements of terror and haunting imagery and music, perfect for giving the young ones nightmares.
