Crazy Day shrimping my home Waters. Sometimes you just land on the shrimp.
We ended our day short of our limits but came home with plenty to eat.

I want to try out shrimpin for coonstripe shrimp this year but their is very little info out there compared to spot prawns. Are you fishing the same areas as spot prawns, but just in shallower water?

Ya home launch. 135-150 is what I try try set at. Tips are be prepared to stay out all day and keep searching. I strike out more than I succeed. These shrimp move around. I could send you to this exact location and they will be gone the following day. I love this spot but it only hits every 5-6 times I try. Main think is keep working the shorelines at 135-150 and you will find them. On this day I covered 3-4 miles until I landed on big numbers.

Check the regs but I think coonshrimp are open in most pugetsound marine areas.

You can find them everywhere, at night you can even catch them from piers

Love your videos, i’ve always wanted to do some coonstripe shrimping too but always struck out in my area 8-2. If you have some tips or some reference locations it would be much appreciated! Thank you and happy shrimping!

Right in front of onamac point in 150ft. I know for a fact they are there. Run a trailing bouy and zip tie bricks in the pot from Home Depot. The grey bricks. Anything clams will trigger the shrimp
