Thanks for this quick rundown on Blackstaff. I'm running Waterdeep Dragon Heist and Mad Mage and the lore is so overwhelming at times that videos like this are REALLY helpful to visualize some of the NPCs and give them a bit more depth when the players encounter them or their legacies.

Cool you've talked about Khelben before talking about Elminster. IMO he's a much more complex character: overall "good", yet with a non-minor touch of authoritarianism and suspicious secrecy that make him really interesting. I'm only kinda sorry you didn't say anything about the rumours of him being still alive after the Second Sundering and of the standarized spells created by him, such as "Khelben's Warding Whip".

The Grey Hand is like the Avengers. They work directly with Waterdeeps government protecting it from threats too great for the city watch. I think they answer to Laeral Silverhand (who is immortal now I guess?). The silverstars have gone threw a reformation since Khelben Blackstaff's time and it's a different sort of group now.
