I have some research prepared so each episode takes me about 4 hours right now. I've been going at it pretty hard. 😅

I don't care what kind of "Haste" spell you're using. Keep up the great work 👍

I just noticed that somehow in my sloppy editing I cut off the first 2 seconds of the audio. :x "Nestled amongs the numerous lakes and plains along the Narrow Sea, lay the roots of what would become a monumental empire" just in case that was driving anyone nuts. Apologies!

Have you ever found an artifact from Netheril in a tabletop game or CRPG? What was it? 🤩

Ioun Stones are magical items from Netheril.

In the age before the Arcanists, the region was so over-run by orc hordes, not even the might of the dwarven armies or the power of the elven empire could quell it. To this end, they made an alliance with the humans. The elven empire eventually became what would be known as Myth Drannor. The Netherese Empire started to fall even before Karsus was born. The Phaerimm, their attention attracted by the magical energies, started to attack the land, defoliating the vegetation, and also, destabilizing the Mythals. The Nether Scrolls is an Artifact. Though they can seem to be marred and damaged, they will eventually reform into perfection, disappear, get lost, only to reappear in another place. The tormented body of Karsus can still be found in the northern edge of the High Forest.

I really want to redo this episode one of these days, I think it could be expanded a lot.

It was a great account for the time you spent on it. There is a great deal that can be told about it and done with it, especially if you have access to the Netheril books from AD&D 2ed. One example of this, is that the infamous Halaster of Undermountain was a Netherese Arcanist. He moved to seacoast before Netheril's fall for study and solitude. After the fall, and people moved west and founded what would become known as Waterdeep, he retreated underground and constructed Undermountain as a means of protecting himself from further incursion and disruption. He is the oldest known person on Toril.

@@asteriskme I should redo my waterdeep episode too, and focus more on Halaster. Maybe these could be one episode but that might be reaching a bit thematically.

You have a slightly robotic or monotone cadence to your speech pattern but great content overall. Ty ❤

Personally, I've always enjoyed your delivery of the narrative. I find that it sets an appropriate mood and is easy to digest while I'm doing something else without getting distracted. Well researched too, easily the best lore content creator that I have come across. I go back and forth between newer and older videos depending upon what I'm in the mood for or needing to enrich my campaigns. Keep it coming!
