I am so so pleased you included the main campaign's story of Neverwinter nights 2 in this lore video as well as it's expansion Storm of Zehir! It's often overlooked and whether people like it or not, that game is canon to Neverwinter's history. Nicely done! Entertaining and informative. I second what Mark Thomas said in the earlier post. There's so much lore around Faerun to cover, areas mostly overlooked but with really interesting stories. The Vilhon Reach, Tethyr, pretty much the entire southern coast could be source material for a host of interesting vids. Just food for thought. Thanks from subscriber 300.

Great vid ❤ Personally I think KZbin is over saturated with vids covering DnD/FR pop culture. It's like the only things people cover or know of the Forgotten Realms is the area of the Sword Coast and anything else used in 5e. There is SO much more content that could be featured beyond places common in 5e pop.

Good video, I always enjoy a good lore vid, but i hear ya. I miss 5-6+ yrs ago when D&D was still fairly niche. I’d love to see lore about some of the characters from the 80s & 90s. I remember reading and getting modules on Cormyr, the dalelands, Fzoul, darkhold, Ashemi, Knights of Mythdranor, Sembia, Khelban, Elaith, and so much more when I was a teen. 5e has grown to be a little goofy with cat & bird people, crazy classes, and too many players with oddball multi classes. I’ve really enjoyed that Ed Greenwood made a channel. A lot easier than the trek to Wisconsin every year

Ed Greenwood's legendary heroes and villians of the Realms ("Spellfire"...nuf said), as well as others such as RA Salvator (the Icewind Dale Trilogy, the Cleric Quintet, and can you say the "D" word????), Elaine Cummingham ("Elfshadow"...the elven overdose epic), Paul S Kemp ("something, something, something...darkside") to name just a few of many awesome creators. But I'd deserve a kick in the clackers if I didn't honor the man who kicked it off with the first published FR novel, Douglas Niles for the Moonshae trilogy (cheers Doug! :P).

Neverwinter is playing a big role in my groups campaign, as Strahd has been trying to escape Barovia and seeks to conquer the Sword Coast. As the true heir to Neverwinter, my character, Zelda Alagondar, plays a huge role in this plot both because of her political influence and her clerical power. As far as I know, I am the only thing standing between Strahd and Neverwinter as our DM killed off most of the Alagondar royal family. We have one session left in the campaign so I wonder what will happen next.

@@sleighthand it’ll be quite the showdown. From what I know the Sword Coast is a powder keg and the party will be separated and fighting on multiple fronts. Additionally most of us have nothing to return to afterwards. For example, by the end of the campaign I will have no family, very few friends or loved ones (our DM is going to have me break up another PC, a vampire named Alexander Von Roeyen), possibly dealing with the aftermath of the war and politics of Neverwinter etc. Hopefully I survive the battle with Strahd to rebuild and restore.

I am happy to see a good video like this. But i am sad to see the Neverember rule not changing. Obviously 🙄 he is a character made just so to cut off the established lore of the previous Neverwinter series. Which basically limit the current settings we have. IMO it’s more better if the Alogandor Dynasty persist. Since we know Neverwinter is always besieged in all side by those enemies that is crouching within. I understand they did this rewriting since this franchise was sold to tencent. Anyway i am still bitter how the story is right now. I am just glad i stop patronizing this series when it was still have chance for a revival. Now i know it’s already dead imo.
