For the chamfers, if you can set the work in a V-block, I think that will solve your problem. You can probably make your own V-block with that angle gage

Hi Lisa, The frame is coming together nicely. That's a lot of welding you are doing and the beads look good, I wish I could weld as good as you, I just got a welder about a year ago and I am still learning. All the best, Ken

Yes i was suprised when i counted up the rods. With the mig you dont realise how much wire goes in to things. It jist runs out at the worst possible time 🤣

Too hot in my opinion 130amp for a 2.5mm rod. Personally, I would have preheated the steel first but in the absence of preheat, 6010 3.2mm at 120amps for the root followed by 3.2mm 7018 for two hot passes over the top. The weld beads you did look tidy enough but if they were 6013 rods then they will crack and or break because they are a low penetration cellulosic rod so hydrogen cracking will eventually occur.
